Chapter Twelve

''Cece we're gonna be late!!!'' Frankie shouts and slams my door down, waking me up suddenly.

''Shit what time is it!'' She throws me the car keys as I rush to get my clothes on, still half asleep.

I run to the bathroom before splashing my face with water.

''Come on we don't have time for makeup!'' She grabs my arm and pulls me out of the bathroom.

''Let's go'' she pushes me out of my bedroom door and follows behind me. She pushes me to go faster but I wasn't running for no one.

''Yes Frankie alright!'' I shake her off me before giving her a nasty glare and all she could do was laugh.

''Here you drive'' I throw my keys back at her and she nods her head before getting in.

I quickly slide in and shut the door behind me.

''This way I can still get ready'' I look over at Frankie as she sits there shaking her head, laughing at me.

''FRANKIE SLOW THE FUCK DOWN'' the car jumps as I'm doing my mascara.

''I SWEAR TO GOD IM NOT LOSING A FUCKING EYE'' she laughs and speeds up even more.

I hold onto the bottom of my seat with the mascara wand still in my hand.

''FRANKIE STOP YOUR GONNA MAKE ME DROP IT'' I shout but you could barely hear my voice over the car engine.

She ignores me and I nudge her hard causing the car to come to a sudden stop.

''YOU TRYING TO FUCKING KILL US'' my heart was beating out of my chest and this bitch thought it was funny. My chest hurt where the seatbelt strangled my body.

''Oh come on lighten up'' she laughs as she prepares to drive off again.

''No fuck you Frankie'' I get out slamming the car door right behind me. Was I fuck letting her drive me the rest of the way.

She speeds off with no hesitation as I stroll along the sidewalk alone.

''Cece what the fuck!'' I hear someone pull up next to me and I turn to find Ruby.

''RUBY!'' She opens her car door and I jump in quickly.

''Why we're you walking? Where's Frankie?''

''She basically tried to kill me'' Ruby shakes her head and doesn't bother to question me, even she knew how fucking crazy Frankie was.

''Come on let's get going'' we pull up outside of school and still have ten minutes until our first lesson.

Frankie basically tried to kill me for nothing.

I look up after closing the car door to find Grayson.

''Ima borrow Cece for a sec'' he waits until Ruby approves before holding my arm and pulling me to one side.

He gives me a smile then suddenly looks at me in all seriousness.

''Cece I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. I just can't help myself I'm a dick and now you hate Ethan and I've ruined everything an-'' I could hear him slowly losing his breath as he tried to catch up with himself.

''Grayson stop. It's okay. I'll see you later'' I smile at him before hugging him goodbye. I turn back to look at him and he's left standing there with the most confused look on his face.
