Chapter Ten

I wake up to the sound of silence. My house is normally hectic on a morning but today was different.

I get out of bed and slide my slippers onto my feet, still half asleep. I exit my room and begin to slowly make my way to Frankie's room.

''Frankie! You in there?'' I shout whilst I knock a couple of times, but no answer.

The fuck is everyone

I turn my back to her door and slowly creep down the stairs, confused out of my mind.

''Hello?!'' I shout loud causing my voice to echo throughout the empty house.

I stop and sit midway down the stairs to phone my mum.

''Mum where the fuck is everyone''

''I tried to wake you hunny but you didn't budge, were out getting breakfast''

Charming

''Well where are you I'll meet you there, DONT EAT WITHOUT ME'' I panic and hang up and straight after I do my mum texts me the address.

I run up to my room and threw on some sweatpants and a tight vest top, throwing my hair up into a messy bun. I didn't want to look all shit so I quickly coated my eyelashes with mascara.

I hurry as I chuck my shoes on, grabbing my car keys, jacket and bag.

I run down the stairs whilst getting my sunglasses out of my bag before shoving them onto my face.

I fling the door open and run to the car. I wasn't going to miss this damn breakfast.

I throw my bag onto the seat next to me and start that baby up before flying out of the driveway.

I pull up to a little diner. The first diner I ate at when we arrived here. I smile like crazy as I shut the car door gazing at it.

I skip a little as I make my way over to the diner and I could see my mum dad and Frankie sat in the same booth by the window.

I enter and run towards them out of breath.

''What I miss'' I breathe heavy as they all laugh at me.

''Some things will never change'' I laugh at my dad as I take a seat preparing myself for this meal.

We all look behind a menu and Frankie nudges me and flicks her head up.

I frown my brows and look over my menu to see Ethan and Grayson with their family sitting across the diner.

Ethan turns and looks at me and I panic shoving the menu up to my face.

''Are you okay Cece''

''Yeah mum fine''

As I hide my face behind the menu Frankie brings her head down to my level.

''What you gonna do''

''I don't fucking know?!''

I knew she knew what was going on between us, we just haven't talked about it yet.

I put my menu down to see Grayson also looking over. Grayson turns his head back to Ethan and gives him a confused look.
