Its Saturday.First day at work.I gotta keep this up at least for now until things get better.
I dressed up properly.White shirt and black pants,nothing can go wrong with this.Borrowed a pair of almond toed pump shoes from Hannah and also Rose.First day should be a great impression and I cant be late.
I went out having enough time on my hand.They told me to pick up breakfast from a shop nearby Bonica.Ill just have to say 'BA-23' and they'll do the rest.This should be fast.
"I was so wrong.This traffic is going to take forever.Excuse me!"I said to the guy next car.
"Yes?"
"We've been here for a while.Do you have any idea what is happening?"
"Seems like small crowd in front.Maybe an accident."
"Oh" I sighed.
Why today!I can't leave the car here.If it's an accident it will take a lot of time.I'm going to be late.
After 30 minutes they let us go.I drove super fast.After reaching the shop I rushed in and ordered.I should stop panicking.Bonica isn't far away and I still have half an hour.
And the unthinkable happened.Rose broke down.I coundnt abandon it like this so I called Hannah over.
"Oh my poor baby Rose.What did you do?"
"I didn't do anything.You should change it."
"Never!"Hannah gasped.
"It'll take some time to fix it, wait."
"Sorry I cant.I'll have to leave by foot or else I'll be late."
"Ok then,add your wings and fly my little angel.Fly!! "
I had a little time till 9 am. So I ran while keeping the food straight.
When I reached it's gate it was exactly 9 am.
"I made it!oh wait the elevator."
The same thing happened again.I had to wait like a dummy until squishing in forcefully.I really need to figure this out.
"I'm here,"I grasped for breath.
"You're late and what happened?You look like you fought two bears coming here.Jeez,"said Cara.
"I'm so sorry.Ill make sure this doesn't happen again."
She's clearly disappointed.
"Ok whatever,I've already made coffee.So let's go introduce you.Wait,you look like a mess.Go and fix yourself first.Hurry."
I went to the washroom,fixed my hair and shirt.
"I'm done."
"Okay Pick up the coffee and breakfast.let's go,"said Cara.
I followed her to the boss's office.It was separated from the rest of the place with curved glass wall.Which isn't even see through.Cara knocked on the door.I prepared myself for how I should introduce myself at home.I may look like a mess but I can still win them over with politeness.
"May we come in sir?"
"Yes come in,"said a person sitting on the other side of the chair with with a very deep smooth voice.
"I've brought the new P.A.she'll be handling all the outer business from now on."
"Go on,introduce yourself,"Cara whispered to me.I took a deep breath as he was turning around.
"My name is Jade.I'm..."
"Wait...."he said.
Why is it no that one here lets me finish my sentence?
He turned around and stood up.All I could see was a tall masculine figure walking towards me.
Hannah told me there wasn't much pictures of him in public but the ones she saw,she was completely awed.
She wasn't wrong.
He came closer.So I put my hand out to shake.He didn't take it,in fact he crossed my hand and kept on coming closer.Which made me back up my self further and further until I hit the glass wall.
Now his chest was completely before my face.
He tall!
I almost stopped breathing.
"Umm..."said Cara witnessesing this in awkwardness.
He looked at Cara and said,"You may leave now."
Cara stayed there not knowing what to do but he was still looking at her so she left,even though she was hesitant not to.
Then he turned his face onto me and kept staring for some second.I couldnt look at him.
And then suddenly he slammed his right hand on to the glass beside my face making me completely trapped.
The smell of his Cologne filled my senses as I was frozen.My heart could come out in any second in my hand.Its racing too fast.What did i get my self into?I'm so dead today.
What the hell is going on?!
