Since I missed the interview I should go and grab some breakfast for us.Its a rule in this house.I make breakfast and Hannah dinner.We often skip lunch and make it up with heavy snacks or eat outside.
I put my coat and muffler on to go outside.First things first,coffee.
As I entered the coffee shop I realized the place is really crowded today.Maybe because I often come here as early as possible.Its going to be difficult finding a table here and just then I saw a empty table at the corner.I rushed there as soon as possible.It was table number 7.Aren't I lucky!I put my bag down and left to give my order.
"One coffee and bagel for number 7 and one coffee, 3 bagels on the go."
"Ok,what's your name?"
"Its Jade."
"Anything else?"
"No,thank you."
After that I started walking towards my table and then noticed something odd.Someone else was sitting there.A nerdy looking guy who was busy looking at his tab,someone who probably wouldn't want to be disturbed right now.But it's my table and I put my bag there.He should've noticed. He looks like a nice guy.Maybe it's just a simple mistake.I'll just go and talk to him politely.
Ok,being somewhat of an introvert these things annoy and frighten me that now I have make an uncomfortable conversation.So I planned what I will say and reply in my head and proceeded.
"Umm...excuse me!"
"Yes?" he said looking a little concerned.
"I'm sorry,maybe there's been a mistake but this is my table.See,I put my things here,"I said as politely as I could.
"Oww,didn't notice that but Im pretty sure I came here first.I just went to give my order and it wasn't here when I first came.''
Now I feel like any one of us could be true or he could be straight up lying.People are still coming in. So there isn't going to be any empty seats soon and I just ordered breakfast.What do I do?
"We could just share the table.I would love a company of a cute girl,"he said with a witty smirk on his face.
Is he trying to flirt or something?!This made me kinda angry and his polished English accent didn't seem to make it any better.
"Or you could leave my seat and share with the guys over there.I don't like eating in front of strangers,"I said with a slight angry voice.
"If you don't like it what made you think I would?"
"You suggested it!You should take you own advice."
"Well,I made an simple offer but you seem to be making it difficult."
"Me?"
"Yes,you."
Damn this guy.I was about to say something but then I heard a call from the counter for 'Jaden from tb.7'.This made me furious.Its Jade not Jaden ,Jadee, Jad or Jayed!
