Gone: Baby Daddy Fanfiction

Prologue

Ben's P.O.V

It's over. Riley has been in love with me her whole life and by the time I realized I loved her too, it's too late. I should've known her Danny were meant for each other. They've been best friends since they were kids. Riley was the only girl I ever truly loved. I'll never find another girl like her which means Emma will never have a mom.

I look over at my beautiful 2 year old daughter asleep in her crib. Living this crazy complicated life in this big city isn't fair to her. She needs to be somewhere calm and normal and away from this hectic, crazy, messed up life and family. I've made up my mind. Emma and I are leaving and we're leaving tonight.

I quietly got out of bed and started packing up mine and Emma's things. I grab a piece of paper off a note pad on my desk and scribble a note down for my family so that they don't send the police looking for me when they realize i'm gone. I picked up Emma and quietly put the not on the counter on my way out the door.

I carry Emma downstairs and outside the lobby. I hail a taxi cab and we drive to the nearest train station. I buy two tickets and we board the train for a ride to a new city and to the start of a new life.

Riley P.O.V

I woke up in bed next to my wonderful boyfriend Danny to the sound of tucker yelling: "Guys wake up! Get out of bed! Hurry, it's an emergency!"

Me and Danny leap out of bed, and run into the living room the same time Mrs.Wheeler comes bursting through the front door. "Tucker!" she yells, "What's the emergency?" She was clearly worried and annoyed at the same time.

"Ben's gone!" he said. "What do you mean he's gone?" I cried. "He's not here and neither is Emma. "Tucker, calm down!" Mrs.Wheeler said, "They probably just went for an early trip to the park,"

"Oh yeah? I suppose to it's perfectly normal to take your daughter to the park at seven in the morning and to take all your belongings with you!" Tucker yelled. "What do you mean?" Danny asked. "He's gone and so are all his belongings. The only thing left in the room is furniture with empty drawers." Tucker said.

"So what are you saying?" I asked. "I think Ben ran away."

My heart split in two. It felt like my world came crashing down on me. How could he do this? Why would he do this? "Guys look!" Mrs. Wheeler cried, "It's a note from Ben!" We all ran over to the kitchen counter where she was standing and crowded around her.

Dear guys,

I'm so sorry for leaving. My life was just too complicated for me and I couldn't handle. Finding that the love of your life is in love with someone else is devastating. It was just too much drama and complication for me. I don't want Emma growing up around that kind of craziness. Riley, I don't blame you for loving my brother more than me and I don't blame Danny either. You can't control what heart wants and if your heart wants to be with Danny, than you should be with Danny. Tucker, thanks for letting me stay with you in your apartment even when Emma came along. Mom, thanks for all the support and help you've given me in regards to Emma. Thank you guys so much for being there for me and Emma but life here is just to confusing and chaotic and I just need to get away from it all.

"Oh, hell no" Tucker said. I can't believe it. This is all my fault. I feel the tears brimming my eyes and I run out of the room.
