Riley's P.O.V
I was sitting in the hospital with Danny and Emma for what felt like forever. After about three hours. The door bursts open, and I don't believe my eyes. "Where's my baby girl?" It was Ben. He didn't see me, Danny, or Mrs.Wheeler. I wanted to go up and hug but I also wanted to scream at him. I knew Mrs.Wheeler and Danny saw him too, but they were too shocked to say anything.
Ben's P.O.V
I rush into the emergency room towards the room number I was told on the phone. Man, I haven't been here in so long, which I guess should be a good thing. I find the room and burst open the door not even paying attention to the people in the first half of the room. "Where's my baby girl?" I go straight to the other side of the curtain and see Emma lying there still in the clothes I'm guessing she wore to the concert. "Hey Daddy," she said smiling. "I'm fine." I relax slightly but not for long. "Ben Wheeler!"
Uh-oh. I know that voice anywhere. I turn around. "Hey Riley," I say say nervously and smile at her. "I don't know whether I should kiss you or put you in headlock!" she screamed. "Please don't go Rigantor on me!" I plead absolutely terrified. She runs at me full speed and I brace myself for the headlock but instead she throws her arms around and hugs me so tight I can't breathe but I hug her back. "Benjamin Bon Jovi Wheeler!" Oh crap. Where there goes the sweet moment.
My mom spends the next fifteen minutes screaming at me, telling me how immature I am, and how irresponsible my decision. Finally, Danny manages to get out of bed and comes up and gives me a bro hug. "Hey man," he says, "Long time no see." Suddenly, the door swings open. It was Tucker.
"Yo Riley my phone dies and just I got your text about Danny and I came as quick as I could and-" he stops and looks at me, "aw hell no!" "Hey Tuck," I say. He comes up and hugs me. "You've got some explaining to do!" he says. "A-hem" I here behind me and we all turn to see Emma out of bed with her arms crossed. "I think I deserve an explanation first!"
