Part 19

"H-He just left me.."

"I'm Chris, that's Leslie."

"It's best if you say nothing.. let them do what they're gonna do."

"You also lost me."

       Sam's p.o.v
Daddy kept staring at me. I kept staring back. "W-what do you mean?" He stuttered.

I laughed, "I'm.. im running away." I looked at him straight in eye. "It'll be hard having 3 kids to take care of. Plus a fox. But now it's down to 1. Boomers coming with me."

"Sam." Daddy shook his head as he was about to cry. "She drew on me. You, boomer, and your mom where the only thing that were special to me."

"Looks like you lost all of them." I walked into the room daddy and me used to share. He had a pocket knife in his dresser. I took that. That was the only thing I was gonna take with me. When I walked outside the room daddy was cussing at my teacher.

"Get the hell out." He pushed my teacher outside the door.

"Looks like your gonna be alone." I glared at daddy with a straight face.

"Sam.. please don't.. I beg. You're all I have." Daddy went to his knees, and started crying. I grabbed boomers leash.

"Boomer will teach me how to live out there." I connected his leash to his collar.

"Please.." Daddy grabbed my hand.

"I'll see you, Dad." I walked out the door, with only two things that will help me.

Jacks p.o.v
Sam left. I was alone. He's only been out there for a day. I kept trying to make my self calm, but couldn't. I ran outside and yelled, "SAM!! COME HOME!! PLEASE!!" But no response.

I really was alone.

    Sam's p.o.v
It was scaring. I didn't have daddy by my side, but I didn't need him. Boomer was with me instead. I've only spent a day in the woods far away from daddy as possible. I saw how boomer caught fish. I jumped in the stream and tried. I caught a frog. I COULD HAVE FROG LEGS!! I already had so much planned for me living here. "Boomer!! Come on!! We should build camp!!" I yelled. Boomer came jumping out of the river. The frog was trying to escape. It was getting on my nerves. So.. I stabbed it with my knife. Blood get all over my hands, but I didn't mind. I gathered wood, leaves and rocks. *Its the admin and every single time but not really I'm gonna make a new paragraph for every time sam talks*

"Boomer, can.. I pluck some of your hair off?" He sat down in front of me waiting. I plucked a few hairs. I laid them where the sticks where with the leaves. After that I was turning two sticks really fast which made a fire!! I was proud of my self. I didn't have shelter, but I had boomer. My head was on the roots of a tree, and Boomer was by my side. I held him as close, so I could be warm, and so he could be warm.

A month passed, I was doing great with Boomer. We lived near a river, had a little house out of sticks, deer skin, and leafs. Yes, I did kill deer. I made weapons to. I made an axe with sticks and rocks, a bow with wood, feathers, and sticks, and other crap. I thought about running back to dad. Not staying there, just visiting. So I did. "Boomer!! Come!! Where gonna go see someone!!" I shouted. I grabbed my bow, and put it around my back. We both ran, ran, ran, and ran. We where finally there. A bunch of cars where there. I-I couldn't believe who I saw. Mommy. I wanted to show her how I changed threw the month.

"Boomer.." I held him so he could see. I snuck into the back yard. Mommy was shaking hands, same with dad. They where laughing and eating. I went to the front door with Boomer by my side. "Boomer.. scratch the door." I quickly put on my hood, boomer also had a little hood. I made it for him out of squirrel skins. He scathed the door loud. Someone was coming.

"Move, Gizmo." It was daddy. "What the hell.." Daddy whispered when he saw me. "Who are you?"

I pulled my hoodie off. "Dad." I pulled Boomers hoodie off. Dad dropped his glass.

"O-oh my god.." Dad fell to his knees. He pulled me into a hug crying. Mommy ran to the door.

"Sam." She came down to her knees like daddy, and hugged me too.

"How did you survive?!" Dad yelled.

"I only had to things in the beginning. As the month passed I learned things." I told dad while hugging him.

"Are you gonna come back and stay?" Mom asked me. I shook my head.

"The out doors.. its kinda my home." I backed up from the hug. "Mom.. when you left.. I was always outside till dad told me to come inside." I didn't recognize all the people inside. "Who are they?" I whispered about to grab my bow. Before dad could say anything..

Someone came up and said "Hello." I quickly pulled my bow and an arrow and pointed it to his face.

"SAM!! Put that away!! It's your uncle. Remember? Lucas?" Dad lowered my bow. I took a deep breathe.

"Just threw that month.. I changed. The old Sam you knew.. is gone." Chris popped out of the crowd. I shook my head. "No, no your gone.. YOUR GONE!!!" I kept yelling.

"Sam, what are you yelling at?!" Dad yelled.

"YOUR GONE!!" I yelled. I pulled out my arrow. I threaten to shoot. Boomer started growling. "ALL OF YOU!! GET ON YOUR KNEES!! RIGHT NOW!!" Everyone listened to me. "PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!" They did that too.

"Sam, what are you doing?" Dad looked at me. I loved Chris. Not as a friends though.. I was gay.

"Chris.. CHRIS!!" I screamed as I fell to my knees. When I closed my eyes I fell asleep.

I woke up in dads arms. My head was on his shoulder. He was walking with me. "Chris.." I whispered.

"Was he yo-." I cut him off.

"Yes.. except I wanted to be more than friends.." I still was whispering. Dad looked at me.

"Your gay?" Dad set me down on the counter. I nodded. I grabbed dads hand, and laid it on my head.

"I miss when you scrubbed my head when I told you something." I giggled a little. He scrubbed my head as we both laughed.

"What happened to you calling me daddy?" He asked me.

"I don't know.. daddy." I kissed daddy's head. We both laughed. Boomer ran up on daddy's leg. We both where really home.
