Sam & Jack

Part 29

Me, and Boomer were outside in the rain. We played mud tag. Except I got mud in my eye, I couldn't see anything. "Boomer.. where are you?" I asked getting to the ground. Boomer waddled over to me, and gave me his tail. I wiped the mud away to see clearly. "Thank you, Boomer.." He led me into the house.

"You really need to stop playing in the mud.." Mommy told me with laugh.

"That's impossible for me!!" I yelled. Boomer howled. I ran to the bathroom where daddy started the water.

Mommy, and daddy were on the lap top looking at.. Hawaii. I looked at some of the pictures. It was sunny there. I kinda didn't like it. I liked rain. "Whys it so shiny there?" I asked throwing Boomers ball.

"It's close the equator." Mommy told me scrolling through the pictures.

"I don't know what that is, but okay!!" I was running around the counter will Boomer. He was big now. He almost killed me, when he sat on me. "AGH!!" Boomer plopped his big butt on me, but I pushed him off. "Your so big!!" I yelled as Boomer ran after me. I fell on the ground which caused me to hit my mouth. It started to bleed. "Mommy, Daddy!!" I ran  up to them showing my mouth.

"Oh, no.. Your braces hit your gums.." Daddy looked at my mouth. "Come on. Let's go to the dentist." He said as he carried me to the car.

Mommy followed. She handed me a wet towel to hold against my mouth. "It hurts.." I said closing my eyes.

"Metal hit your gums, but it'll be alright." Mommy said backing out of the drive way.

My eyes where closed the whole entire way there. When we got there, mommy took me out of my seat, and daddy talked with the nurse people. After a few moments it was my turn. "Sam McLoughlin, this way please." Both Mommy, and Daddy came with me. I gave the nurse my bloody towel. "What's seems to be the problem?" The nurse asked.

"He was running around, and hit his mouth on the ground. We think his braces hit his gums." Daddy told her.

She nodded. "Okay.." She studied my mouth for a few moments. "Doctor Hal with be here in a minute." Mommy, and daddy nodded.

I really didn't want to go through all of that pain again. I'm guessing they're gonna tighten them again. "Hello, Sam!!" Doctor Hal was an old man. He seemed nice.

"Hi.." I whispered.

"Alright.." He looked at my papers. "It seems the wires to your braces slit your upper lip. We're gonna have to add stitches."

I stared at Doctor Hal for a few moments, then I tried to dash out of the room, but daddy tackled me. "Sam, it will be fine. It will be fine."

"No!! I don't want stitches!!" I yelled. Mommy, and daddy had to get 3 nurses to help me get back to the seat.

"Sam, you won't feel it. We're gonna numb your mouth." Doctor Hal got his tools. "It's cream, not a shot. Alright? Just lay down." I laid down on the chair. "Open wide, Please." I did ask his said. He put the cream stuff in my mouth with a ear cleaner thing. Then he got his stitch supplies. I started shaking, but both of them held my hand. The nurses stayed there just in case I had another attack.

"Almost done, Sam." Mommy told me.

I just nodded. "And..." Doctor Hal put the last one in. "Done!!"

I didn't want to close my mouth. Everyone was staring at me. "Sam, you can close your mouth now." Both mommy, and daddy laughed.

I shook my head. After a few minutes though I did. It felt like a bug was in my mouth. But I was gonna have to get used to it. "He won't be able to eat for an entire hour." Doctor Hal started writing on my paper again. "He can't eat any sauce, or hard foods."

I was just in the chair listening. "Come on, Sam." Daddy told me. I opened my arms as he picked me up.

"When are we going to Hawaii?" I asked while getting in my car seat.

"In 2 months."

Okay.. I never told anyone this.. but you guys are gonna have to wait a month for book2 🤣, and this story will end on Saint Patrick's Day.. and.. next chapter, is the last chapter but it will be very, very, VERY long!! I PROMISE!!
