Seven weeks, four days, fifteen hours, I had been trapped underground after that genocidal human tried to destroy both monsters and humanity. Luckily, I had found refuge behind this waterfall to keep everyone safe. If only I could've saved everyone...

As I was helping Bratty and Catty out with their shop, I saw three figures in the distance walking slowly towards us. I was so scared that they were going to come to me to ask about the experiments that had been failing so far. Then, I noticed that the tallest figure was wearing armour and had red hair. Was it Undyne? But I thought that it was impossible so I just continued organising the shelf. Then, the figure was running towards me at high speed!

"Alphys!" It sounded like Undyne, but 'how?' I thought. The figure continued running, then I saw their face. It was indeed Undyne! I ran out of the shop towards her, she opened her arms and I opened mine. She lifted me up then kissed me! I kissed her back then we released. "Alphys! I thought you didn't make it!"

"A-and I th-thought that you're life h-had been taken by the h-human!"

"I'm so happy to see you!"

"A-and I y-you!" She put me down and I fixed my glasses back into the right place. Then the two other figures walked up, a small monster kid and a human! "H-h-human! G-get away from me! L-leave us all alone!" I started shaking, the human looked confused.

"Hey, Alphys, this is a nice human! He was the one that helped me find you! Alphys, meet Jamie!"

"Hi Alphys, nice to finally meet you, Undyne told me so much about you!" He was taller than me. He held out his hand for me to shake.

"N-nice to meet y-you t-too." I shook his hand then positioned my glasses again.

"Oh, and this is M.K." Undyne gestured to the small monster, well they were about my height...

"I would shake your hand but, as you can see, I have no arms." M.K gleamed a smile at me.

"L-lovely to meet y-you M.K."

"So, Alphys, please tell me what's been going on for the past few weeks!" Undyne looked at me eagerly awaiting a response. I had so much to tell!

"W-well it's quite a l-long story so I think we'd b-better sit down with s-some soda - or tea." I knew Undyne wasn't much for cold, sickly drinks.

After I had apologised to Bratty and Catty for having to leave so soon, I let Undyne and the others follow me to my hut to sit down and talk. I only had minimal furniture so we had to sit on pillows on the floor which wasn't too bad but got uncomfortable after a while."Okay Alphys, tell us everything you remember." Undyne said. So, I told them everything.

Following what I thought was the end of Undyne, I had planned to evacuate everyone to my true lab (that nobody knew about, even Undyne) but there wasn't enough room and the amalgamates would probably frighten everyone. That was when I decided to go to the place I had met Undyne and see whether there was a bottom to the abyss. With help from a couple strong monsters, I had managed to pull a lever which showed the entrance to the underneath of Waterfall. Inside was a ton of science equipment that must've meant Dr. Gaster had experimented here. A few other monsters and I helped everybody get in the hideout safely then proceeded to migrate completely after three weeks. We knew the human had escaped because there was a massive flash of white light that went through the whole of the underground. When that had happened, we had been able to gather possessions and materials from Snowdin, Waterfall and Hotland. I, however, decided to gather up the dust from all the boss monsters that had fallen down. When I looked for Undyne's remains, I couldn't find anything so I assumed that I had just lost the dust somehow. I even gathered someextra dust from the ruins and the King's castle from boss monsters I never even knew existed.

I then continued to tell them of my experiments in the True Lab to try revive everyone but just created more amalgamates...

Finally, I finished off with how I gave up on the experiments and decided to help out in what everyone now calls Safenhyde, a name that everyone came up with because they now felt safe, hidden away from danger.

"Wow, Alphys, you've been through so much!" Undyne looked at me with sympathy.

"W-well, I am sure you've been through lots yourself U-Undyne. T-tell me, h-how did you survive the h-human?" I sat waiting for a response. Then, Undyne told me her story.

"W-wow Undyne, that's qu-quite the s-story. Y-you were able to survive the human world!" I looked at Undyne proudly.

"Well, just about. It's not like I went out much." Undyne was being modest.

"So, Alphys, you said that you have been experimenting on the dust of boss monsters. Can you show us how it's going?" M.K looked at me, intrigued.

"I-I w-would show you, b-but they have all been failing so far and I don't want t-to g-get your hopes up that they will be successful."

"Hey Alphys, there's no harm in trying again! Please, for everyone!" Undyne persuaded.

"O-Okay, I'll t-try a-again. F-for everyone's sake!"

"Thanks so much Alphys, we all believe in you!" Undyne stood up and walked up to hug me. After we persuaded M.K to stay put in my hut, we made our way to the True Lab.
