Undertale Fanfiction - An alternate Genocide Ending

Chapter 7 - The Surface

*Undyne P.O.V*

I felt so happy that everyone listened to me and agreed to fight against the Human. Within the space of an hour everyone was ready to FIGHT the Human. All we had to do was find out where they were and all we had to do was read a newspaper to find out.

"Um, I think we have one small problem. How are we going to go outside in front of all the humans without attracting attention?" Asked Flowey/Mettaton.

"Alphys and I have already thought about that and we've decided that Mettaton, RG 02, RG 02, Doggo, Lesser Dog and I should all go out and disguise ourselves. Mettaton, you are a flower so that shouldn't be too hard. RG 01 and 02, Doggo and Lesser Dog, you are all dog-looking monsters so you are basically going to act as, well, dogs. Sadly that will mean you can't wear your clothes or armour because the dogs in the human world do not wear clothes. As for me, I am just going to go as my usual human disguise. With all our disguises we can split up to find the human whose name is Frisk which I found out in the most recent newspaper about a Judge who was killed. Once we find them we will challenge them to Fight us on Mount Ebott. Now, any questions?"

"What will the rest of us do, I am the great Papyrus and I refuse to stand back!"

"Papyrus don't worry, in fact, we need you as Sans to use Sans's teleporting power to teleport Frisk back to Mount Ebott once we find them. As for the rest of you, you will all stay in the cave that is my temporary home and prepare for a FIGHT. Alphys has also made some phones for us monsters going out so we can keep in contact and then we can tell Papyrus who Frisk is with so he can teleport to the monster. However, we firstly need to test that Papyrus can use Sans' power. So, Papyrus, I will walk over there and you have to teleport over to me, think you can do it?"

"Sure! There's nothing I cannot do! Um, how do I do it sans?"

"Welp, all you have to do is just picture where you want to go then give your fingers a click. If you wanna take someone with you point your hand towards them and think about the place you want them to go and they will come with you once you click your fingers. Simple? You know it's working because you should feel it in your bones."

"That wasn't funny Sans... Anyway, I am still going to try! Alrighty then." Papyrus/Sans thought for a moment then clicked his fingers. Nothing happened, he just stayed where he was.

"Looks like you're just not BONE to do it!"

"SANS! Why do you have to be the one to be in my body!"

"Hey, Sans, why didn't it work?" I asked.

"No clue! All I do is this-" He snapped his fingers then teleported next to me! "Then I just appear where... I... woah, my powers still work even when I'm Papyrus! Pap, I told you I had a lucky bone!"

"SAAAANNSS! Humph! Whatever, I'll just stay with everyone else." Huffed Papyrus/Sans.

"Well, Sans, I guess you'll be the one to teleport. Fine with that?"

"Yup."

"Okay, let's go to the surface!"

We were at the barrier and our hearts were beating fast. We all entered as one. Then, we saw what we weren't prepared for. Frisk. They were right there in front of us all, just standing there with a creepy smile on their face and a knife in their hand.

"Well well well, look what we have here! A bunch of zombies and a scientist! Well, a fraud scientist. I know you just lied to everyone to look smart and impressive. I bet nobody knew THAT now, did they?" They glared at Alphys. I had to say something before Alphys broke down into tears.

"Alphys, just ignore them, they're not worth it!"

"N-no, Frisk's right... I'm, i'm j- just a fraud. I did lie, about everything."

"NO! Alphys, I don't care whether you lied or not! I love you for you! Nothing and nobody can change that. Now, Frisk, prepare to lose!" Every one of us held our weapons up and with that, we began the FIGHT.

The darkness engulfed our souls, it was ten boss monsters against one human. We had to win.

Turn after turn, the human was at less than half health. But so were most of us.... The human was strong, we were starting to doubt victory. Then Sans/Papyrus stepped forward. "I didn't wanna have to do this but you deserve it, ready for a BAD TIME?" All of a sudden, Sans/Papyrus closed his eyes and opened to reveal a glowing eye. He turned Frisk's soul blue and went completely savage! Attack after attack. Frisk fell and landed with only one HP. But, they smiled. "Wow, how naive are you? I am not actually 'Frisk' in fact, Frisk is not the type to kill for fun! I, am actually Chara." Flowey/Mettaton gasped.

"B-but, I saw you die! I brought your body to the surface! How could you possibly be here!"

"Things aren't always what they seem. You see, Frisk was a nice person. In fact, Frisk made friends with ALL of you! Maybe not in this timeline but in the last one. I just got bored watching over the young human befriend all of you so I decided to take over their body and do things my way. Oh, if only I had done it sooner. But, now it seems that you're about to destroy them! I knew you'd be up here to FIGHT me so that's why I was by the barrier. No matter if you kill me or not, I will live on but, Frisk's soul is weak, I doubt they can handle my evil or yet another RESET."

"How are we supposed to trust you!" I challenged.

"How about I just show you!" They looked up abruptly and their eyes flashed, everyone could see the same thing. Frisk going through the Underground and just ACTing so nice to everyone. I even saw myself having a cooking lesson with them!

We were all back in reality. It also seemed that everyone was back in their own bodies. Everyone was looking at themselves with a sigh of relief. "See now? You wouldn't want to kill me! You'll just be killing a great friend!"

"How can we SAVE Frisk?"

"You can't, if you kill me, I will only go to the last SAVE point which I created before you arrived. But, Frisk's Soul won't survive any longer next to mine. If I stay alive, I will make your lives a misery! What will you do now?" They gave a frightening glare. Then Flowey moved forward. "I know how to SAVE Frisk. One of us can absorb Chara's soul, letting Frisk's soul free to go to the SAVE point without Chara taking over their body. Only thing is, whoever does it will have to be sacrificed to destroy Chara's soul once and for all." Before anyone had the chance to say anything Flowey turned towards Chara/Frisk and killed them.
