Chapter 3
"Now look where you've gotten us." Regina frowned in an annoyed way from behind the bars. They had been caught by Gold's guards and he had turned them over to the queen who had a large bounty over their heads.
"I cant believe it! Gold is supposed to be good in this world." Regina cocked her head to the side.
"He is. And it is Lord Gold to you. We have bounties on our head by Queen Snow. Therefore, we must be bad people."
"But Snow has killed many innocent people."
"Gold has gone against many evil monsters, and protected kingdoms from ogres. But Gold does not go against royalty. Besides he doesn't even live in this kingdom. He probably doesn't know the extent of her killings. All monarchs execute." She sat their staring at the bars blankly. She seemed more out of hope than she ever had been.
"At least we're together." He offered trying to raise her spirits. He wished the bars didn't separate them. He was actually quite frightened and he needed a hug from his mother.
"Thats it." She stood up and looked around, contemplating the events. "Every time someone finds me or something goes wrong; your here. Your being tracked!"
"That doesn't make sense. Sir Gold -"
"Lord" she corrected.
"Fine, lord Gold made this world. He made it to escape away to a place where villains are heroes and the heroes always win. Lord Gold shouldn't remember me though - he left me in the real world."
"If this story is true; then someone has to know. Someone had to tell him."
"Issac!" Henry gasped. "He must have followed me through the storybook to warn Gold. He must have told him that I was doing something bad."
"You were," Regina rolled her eyes at his lack of knowledge "You were helping me; the bandit Regina."
Henry paused to contemplate this possibility. "No ... from the moment I entered this world he was trying to capture me. Before I even met you ... maybe Isaac gave him a potion to remember his last life."
"Is that bad?"
"Very, Rumplestiltskin is very dangerous ... more dangerous than you could imagine." Henry began shaking the bars and banging against the stone wall.
"He cant be worse than Snow White."
"Oh he is. Way worse. Snow has the capacity to be good ... he does not." She nodded; taking in the information that a hero in their world could be such an evil villain in reality.
"What are you doing?" She was bewildered at his actions.
"We need to get out of here. Gold put us in here to keep us from running away while he decides how to handle us."
"How he handles us?"
"Well he cant just kill us. That could break apart this world ... its very fragile and we are the only people strong enough to break it."
"Then we are going to need a hammer."
