Chapter 9
"Hahaha!" Laughed Regina in a cute giggle. "I had no idea that a pirate would be so scared of fish."
Hook smiled and turned to her. "Leave enough rotten fish in someone's bed and anyone would be scared." Regina laughed, staring adoringly at him.
"I never did learn your name." Regina smiled at him.
"Killian Jones. And you, m'lady?"
"Um ... Regina." She faltered at his tousled brown locks, piercing blue eyes, and smirk.
"Did the boy tell you?"
"Tell me what?"
"That we are all part of some other life and that this is fake?"
"Yes. Yes he did."
"I wonder if we knew each other; in this other life."
"I'm sure we got along well."
"Quite well." They were suspended in this moment for a long time. Neither one faltering, just looking at each other staring deep into each other's souls.
"Ahem." Henry cleared his throat looking at the two of them acting like idiots. "Anyone gonna captain this ship and get to saving my mom?"
"Why ... um, uh, yes my boy!" Killian awkwardly made his way up the steps and out onto the dock. Henry was about to turn and follow him when Regina grabbed his shoulder.
"Henry," He turned to her and Regina look downwards nervously, not sure how to ask her question. "You said that in this world that I ... that I was in love. You said I shared true love's kiss with her and I-" Henry cocked his head to the side. "I was just wondering if I have met Killian before?" Henry laughed.
"Well ... yeah. You know Killian well actually." Henry did not understand that Regina was actually asking if she and Hook were in love. He thought it was just a simple question.
"Good." Regina smiled, beaming.
--------------------
Regina had been in her chambers on the ship all day. She wasn't sure what to do. She knew that she and Hook were probably in love back there. This must mean that they could be in love here too. And she felt the attraction. An she knew that even though he was picked on he was a pirate and pirates like .... She let her thoughts stop there.
When she was sure that Henry was asleep she went up to the deck. "Smooth sailing?" She asked smoothly.
Killian turned around. She looked beautiful. She was wearing a white dress with a pretty clasp. It seemed to be a night dress. Her black hair was wavy. Stop it Jones, Killian thought. You are supposed to be with the one who is blond. Emma.
"So far, yes."
"Now that you have shown Blackbeard was the true coward and you are the real captain, what will happen?"
"I will be captain and my crew will respect me."
"Then why don't you tell your crew to sail the ship and go to sleep?" He paused at this, looking down at her dress and back up to her face again. Why am I having these thoughts. I've gone from a total coward to a completely courageous pirate. How did this happen?
"Something tells me that the stars have more in my future than sleeping." Regina blushed at this. "How would like to be a pirate's wench for a night?"
"A night?" Regina asked confused. "Why can't it be more." Hook gave her a questioning look. "Henry, ... he said you and me were in love back in reality. He said that we shared true loves kiss."
"No, m'lady, that cannot be right. The lad told me I was in love with his mother."
"He says I am his mother." The two paused at this realization. Well, the dreams are blurry. Perhaps she dyed her hair, Reasoned Killian.
Slowly, the two leaned close to each other. They paused, right before sharing a kiss. "Are you sure about this, love? I don't start things I don't intend to finish." His breath was taken away by what Regina said next.
"Then finish it."
