Chapter 6

"Killian! Scrub the decks!"

"Aye, Aye Captain!" As Killian go to work scrubbing, he felt the captains eyes boring into him. As he resisted the urge to turn around, the hairs on his neck rose. Ever since his older brother Liam died, Killian had been getting trouble from the captain and the crew. He had been saving up to pay off his debts to Black Beard and go open a pub or become a black smith. However, the moment Liam (Who stood up for him and protected him from others) passed on they stole the money. Without Liam's help Killian felt he would never be able to leave. Back Beard had offered to let Killian fight him. If he won, the ship would be his. But they all knew that Killian was a coward. An allergic-to-rum coward whom was made fun of and couldn't join in the pirate festivities and drinking.

"So, Killian, have you saved up enough money to pay off yer debts yet?" Something told Killian to stand up to this bastard, but being a coward seemed easier. "A man not willing to fight for what he wants deserves what he gets." The voice in his head chanted. He tried to stop that thought but couldn't. The mantra repeated itself over and over.

That night Killian watched the crew dock and head to the nearest pub as he scrubbed the floor. When they were out of sight he stopped and walked downstairs. Lately his brain seemed to have a very courageous side. One that said things about that ship being him and how he shouldn't stand for this treatment. It was becoming harder to ignore them.

He fell down on his cot underneath the deck, his eyelids immediately began drooping. He fell asleep quickly.

--------------------

Waves. A red headed woman saying that they needed to work together. Dead bodies and fire. A beautiful blond woman holding a knife to his neck. Stealing a heart. Fighting over a compass. Falling through a portal. A hospital. A strange town. The blond girl and people who must be her family. Another man kissing her. Jealousy. Woods that reminded him of Neverland. A young boy and Pan. Pain, sadness, that blonde woman kissing him. Telling him she loved him, him begging her not to. She stabbed the swirling darkness and suddenly ...

Huh! As he woke up quickly he felt his heart rate beating faster than he had ever imagined it would. Why was that dream so ... familiar? And those people ... he felt as if he knew them. "But I've never met them." He reasoned with himself. Who was that beautiful blond women? Did he know her? He threw on his clothes and run up the stairs to the deck.

That women was the most beautiful blond he'd ever seen. He had to find that girl.

"Ah ha!" Regina laughed excitedly. "Give me your spoon!" She grabbed Henry's on and unwound the wire from it. She took the wire from hers and wound them all together. She inserted them in the lock and it worked. She quickly undid Henry's cell and the two began running out of the cell.

When they hit the fresh cool shade of the forest they finally stopped running. "So what's the plan?" Regina turned to henry as they settled down at the base of a large oak tree.

"The plan?" Henry asked confused, "Why should I make a plan. Its your world."

"And your mother."

"Oh ... I didn't know you were going to help me free her. I thought you were scared of her powers."

"I am," Regina admitted "But that is why we need to get her out of there. That is Queen Snows most dangerous weapon. Besides; I think you have earned my trust."

"Really? I got you imprisoned in the Queens dungeon. I brought Lord Gold along behind me and he got you too. I have only harmed you."

"But the whole time you have had hope. You have given me the most powerful weapon: hope. And of course, your mother will be a powerful asset too"

"Asset?"

"She has the greatest dark magic in all the lands. We cant beat Queen Snow with light magic, but perhaps we can use her own weapon against her."

"My mom cant use her magic, or she will get sucked into the darkness. Besides, you said you used light magic before. What light magic?"

"Before I became a bandit I discovered that I have light magic. Lord Gold gave me a couple lessons too before he decided I was unfit to be his pupil."

"Magic!? You have magic. Why didn't you get us out of that cell back there or fight Lord Gold?"

"Its very weak. I can hardly lift a rock let alone pic a lock." Henry laughed.

"In my world you are one of the most powerful witches that ever lived. You dont just use your powers, you control them. You taught my mom how to use hers. I come from the best and worst of all magic. I was there when my mom was learning. Maybe I could teach you"
