Oliver scrambled back to the cabin and let (name) enter first before closing the door, his cheeks were bright red and he just silently sat down in his chair. "don't listen to smith... I did not have relations with any of my first mates... despite my crew believing I did..." Oliver replied once he calmed down. (Name) raised an eyebrow then said "Alright, but why were you so embarrassed by what he said? Unless you-" Oliver cut her off by saying "nothing is wrong with experimenting.... I just happen to have in the past dated guys to see if I liked them... and no I'm not confused Greeks did the same thing as did the Romans! So I'm not weird I'm-" he stopped when (name) let out a small laugh "it's fine really I'm not one to judge! I just don't see why you would be embarrassed about that..."

"simple because its taboo..." he mumbled and ran his hand through his hair and looked at her with a confused face "why do I trust you so easily when it takes me months to trust anyone else.... What is it about you that makes me relax and tell things I don't usually tell...?" He then started to eat to avoid rambling and embarrassing himself even more till (name) spoke up with a coy grin "maybe you like me?"

Oliver almost choked on his food causing him to blush heavily "I-I-I barely know you! Madam... yes, you are a pretty face on a ship and I will protect you from any lewd gesture or harm but... I'm not that quick to fall for someone... at least I don't think so..." his rambling caused him to sink in his seat and hide his face causing the young woman to giggle at how adorable he was being, this was a hardened captain who was supposed to be intimidating but he was hiding his face and sinking below his desk because a young woman asked him if he liked her. it didn't help that his blushing mixed with his freckles, ocean blue eyes and rust colored hair made him look like a school boy who got a love letter. (name) couldn't help but smile at that fact and walked over and whispered to him "well I like you, you have been a sweetheart since day one and honestly you are like a breath of fresh air compared to the men I'm used to, though you also can be serious and calm which is also rather sexy."

Oliver blushed even more, before straightening up in the chair. "you would be the first to find me shooting a man as sexy... Most people are terrified of me when I do that..." he replied truthfully and looked confused as (name) chuckled "well I was more focused on you than the man you killed for trying to hurt me... You saved my life and plus you have quite the firm chest if I may add, you don't look it but under that jacket, you have quite the set of muscles!"

The Brit blinked in surprise before smirking "you are quite the flirt madam, be careful or you might just steal this old sailor's heart without much effort" he winked before standing up and placing his empty bowl on the table and taking the young woman's hand in his before gently kissing the top of her hand "it doesn't help you are quite beautiful, you could give Aphrodite a run for her money..."
