Chapter 6

Brody's POV

I was going to pick up Nicole and all of a sudden my car broke down. I got out of the car trying to figure something out and I heard a very familiar voice "Look who's here" I turned around to see Jake and a few goons around him.

"Is your plan to get your goons to hit me because you are too weak and scared to do it yourself."

"Yes that actually is my plan except you were wrong about something, I am not scared of you, I just think that these goons can make you suffer more than I can."

"So, you admit that you are weak."

"Not weak, smart." He smirked "Boys, GET HIM!!"

All of the goons came to attack me, I fought some of them off but soon I couldn't. They pushed me down and started kicking me. Soon a policeman came and broke the flight and took me to hospital. I didn't get that hurt I only have big wound on my hand and a small wound on my head, the doctor said that I am lucky that it was a small wound because if I got seriously hurt on my head, it could trigger amnesia because of the accident. Nicole would probably be panicking now because I didn't reply to her calls so I decided to call her. That's weird, Nicole didn't pick up, she always has her phone with her. I drove to her house immediately and I rang the bell but she did not answer. Which is weird because her car is outside, so I know she is inside. The door wasn't locked so I just went inside. When I went inside I see Nicole passed out.

"Nicole, Nicole!!!!Wake up!!" I exclaimed as I shook her and she still didn't wake up so I carried her and put her in my car and took her to the hospital.

At the hospital

I was sitting next to Nicole and then she woke up. "Brody, why am I in an hospital and why did you not pick up any of my calls?''

"I am sorry I didn't pick up any of your calls, and you are in the hospital because when I came to you your house you were passed out so I brought you to the hospital."

"Wait, why do you have a bandage on your hand and forehead."

I really didn't want to tell her what happened but I knew I had to be honest with her "On the way to your house my car broke down and Jake was also there and he had some goons with him and then they all attacked me but the police came and stopped it."

"I told you not fight him yesterday."

"I know."

"I am just happy you are safe."

The doctor came in "Hello Nicole, how are you feeling?"

"I am fine."

"Well you are free to leave now."

Nicole and I left the hospital and as soon as we came out of the hospital, she asked "Can we please go to Cold Stone?"

"What? We just came from the hospital and you are supposed to go home and take some rest."

"But I really want ice cream right now."

"Fine we can go to cold stone."

"YAAAAY!!!"

We got in my car and drove to cold stone. We waited in line in cold stone for awhile and finally got our ice creams and sat down.

"How much ice cream do you need?"

"I did not even buy that much."

"A large cup and a milkshake."

"That is not that much."

"Whatever you need to tell yourself."

"Yea, just hilarious." She rolled her eyes.
