Surrounded in the dark mist of night. Laying on the disrupted sheets of wet soil. I ascended from the damp ground, through the cold air of winter.

Bright, gold and shimmering blue eyes like that of the ocean, but fierce. Eyeballing my every move. Scanning past the lanky trees of the woods.

Their growling, razor-like teeth foamed, sizzling. The stomping of feet-no.. paws against the damp dirt.

For some reason these actions rung from ear to ear, as if it were speaking to me. Whispers, telling me I had to go. I had to do this. B-but..

Go where? Go do what? Go how?

Clasping the sides of my head, short clumps of hair stuck out from between my shivering, cold fingers. If I just rip it out of me it'll go away, right? Wrong, a lone beast, strides towards me. My knees shook weak and dropped. Falling to the ground I felt as though I'd sink at any minute.

This frightens me..it wants to kill me.. eliminate-it says. Cloudy brown eyes of mine widened with fear, sunken deep into my body.

As the beastly animal strides forward, I stare, frighteningly into it's almond brown eyes. The beast stood, tall and fearless.

Huff.. the large exhalation of it's breathe hit my throbbing head. Only inches away it stood. The eyes in the trees began to yip, oh! There ferocious voices.

It's hackles rose, and his muzzle curled back to expose pearl-white fangs. Ears shoved forward, tail held high. The beastly fur covered paw flung swiftly across my sweat covered face. I descended into the ground, a dark hole it was. My screams followed, even as I woke.

My eyes batted open..only to see my empty bedroom. I had clutched onto my shirt, now wrinkled tightly within my hold. My heart rate bounced back to normal eventually, then my breathing. Forehead still trickled with sweat.

I had these dreams almost every night for a little while now, almost the same thing but it still frightened me.

The only reason it did was because I couldn't explain it. Everything in my dream I could feel.

Never knowing what it meant.
