Omniscient

Arriving home Jayde and Malaki hurriedly ran to the boxy room they shared. Jayde immediately changing into her night clothes and Malaki changing into his, the reason being they usually were raped if he, being Jerry, came home and they were still in their tight school uniform. Or at least that's what he called it. He said it taught them responsibility.

"Jayden Malaki!" The voice rang and rang and rang again causing the two to stand still in shock. It was the only person they could actually look at without being slapped around, their Aunt Ruby.

Walking slowly out the room, Jayde couldn't help herself but to leap into her Aunts arms Malaki not too far behind her. Gina cleared her throat making them quickly let go regaining composure. "How are you FatFat? I see you lost a couple pounds boy?" She said eyeing Gina.

"Yeah, t-they got m-m-me ru-runn-"

"They got him running track at school Auntie."

"That's great baby, I'd have to come see you run one of these days." She smiled slightly. Gina rolled her eyes coughing obnoxiously. "No, your getting your one visitation per week which is bad enough, you have 15 minutes to talk to these these things and leave my house before my husband comes home."

Gina cut her eyes at them and stomped off to her bedroom. Ruby rolled her eyes chuckling, it seemed as if Ruby knew nothing at all about what was happening to these kids but that was far from the truth. Little did these kids know she knew everything, and she was working on a plan.

"How are you pretty girl? How's school going for you?"

"Good. My teachers say I should join the Beta club, but I don't know about all that." She shrugged slightly. Ruby tilted her head and placed her hands her hips. "And why in the hell not?"

"I don't know it just doesn't interest me. Being that I'm not really socially active."

"Ok and? I think that'll be a good way to start being social Jayden. Fatfat you participated in anything other than track?"

"No ma'am, it'll be too much for me." He sighed, avoiding his aunts glare. The room became silent possibly because Ruby was debating on leaving the matter alone for now or continuing to address the kids lack of sociability.

Deciding on leaving the matter alone, she spoke. "Well you guys are old enough to make your own decisions so I'll let that be. How are you guys doing over here? Do you like your home--" she looked around. "It's nice in here, the 400 a month doing y'all right huh?"

They scratched the back of their necks, clearing their throats. "Y-yeah, yeah we're ok over here."

"Ruby, it's time for you to leave." Gina came down rolling her eyes, folding her arms across her chest. "Why so early I just got he-"

" I really don't care, my husband will be here in about twenty minutes and he doesn't like unexpected guests."

Ruby nodded, not wanting to disrespect the women in her own home, lord knows what would've came out of her mouth had she said something's. The children's hearts sank as their moms sister embraced them one last time before she was escorted out the house. Jayden and Malaki scurried off to their room.

"Jayde, you think she knows what's going on to us?" Malaki spoke. Jayde sighed, she had the same question. She'd hope the answer was no, knowing what her aunties pass looked like. She'd have Gina and Jerry taken out in a heart beat. "I don't know Ki, I hope not."
