Years had passed and Thaecas had somehow grown up to walk his legs and learn to talk.

"Mother, why are wolf-inspired books and paintings scattered around our home? Are they somewhat important to the people who once occupied this house?" He asked, confused with the abstract studies of wolf packs and their "mystery" that includes their great power in numbers.

Every morning, Thaecas visits the mages' library. His mother's stories about the world made him curious, seeking to learn more. Gladly, the mages willingly let him study their books and rare literatures, but the other citizens of Cioniel seems to be forbidden from these books and scrolls. Mostly, these books are ancient, hard to understand and quite odd, Thaecas however, understands these ancient literature. Nobody knows why, he's special. Born with a gift of reading and understanding these long forgotten pages.

Thaecas is mostly interested at ancient lores and legends, mainly the contents of this world; Sainus or "God spoken" in ancient language. He's intruiged by the Dieties and their purposes.
Here, let me introduce you to them.

Icrasil, God of logic, truth and education

Mueyr, God of hope and order

Imis, Goddess of Animals

Ilrasil, God of destruction and the opposing twin of Icrasil

Uzna, Goddess of the Earth

Bugona, Goddess of life

Zetar, God of endings

and;

Aldir, God of Gods and the father of everything, chaos and order.

These Dieties are the bringers of balance, they are tasked to maintain Sainus healthy and stable despite their unique identities and attitudes. Aldir, is suppostedly the maker of all things, born of nothing, even chaos. He represents the sky and the stars, hard to reach, but still there to listen to you. Anyone who opposes the balance are sent to the hideous realms of Ilrasil, tortured and traumatized until a new generation starts.

The legends stated that Aldir was created by something else, greater than him, written on the ancient tablets of the southern forests. These golden tablets holds the knowledge of this world, few had somehow read these stones considering the fact that it is written in unspoken characters. It is sometimes regarded as a gift or a warning, these tablets are scribed and written by Zetar, the God of endings.

Zetar is the only diety to legally interact with mortals, only if commanded by Aldir. He contributes warnings and prophecies, in the form of three grand wizards. Every wizard spoke of the fall, the rise, and the end.
As Thaecas scouted through every isle of book and scrolls, there is one that is too confusing for him. "The Earthborn Vol. I: Nature's will "
He asked for assistance from the mages, but even the smartest of them couldn't even uderstand the book.

But there is one thing Thaecas can makes sense into

"There comes a day when a red child was born, a broken man shall cause an age of pain

When rocks fell from the sky, a loss shall bring forth the age of war with endless rain

It shall be then, when the blind man sees once more, a choice shall usher forth the beginning of a better future and a destruction of power"

~Heroes of Valen, unknown

It is a prophecy, yes. Nobody knows when will this prophecy commence and where will it conclude. All we know that it is the last prophecy in the book, written at the final page. The kingdom nighly bell rang, a sound to head back home. Thaecas gave his gratitude to the mages and left the library, and decided to head home. His mother was at the table, preaparing dinner, hot stew and vegetables.

"Mother, you never told me anything about my father. What was he like?" Asked Thaecas, staring at his mother, worried and curious.

"Your father...He was lovely, simple and terrified of all things, mostly the things he doesn't have control over or anything that he doesn't understand. He was always calm and happy" she replied, with tears running through her blushy cheeks, you can tell that she really loved him. Her hair was a perfect blonde. Thaecas never saw her weep before, it was painful to witness, her mother never erased that memory in her head. She doesn't even know how he died, she wasn't there to see his last glance, but that's for the better.

"Mother, I'm just glad you're here for me. I love you"

"I love you too, son"

A mother cries.
