I jolt awake from my nightmare. I try to breath normal. I look around the dark room so my eyes could adjust. I see the clock in the corner. Two twenty-six. I swallow back my tears. Im never going to see my family or friends again! I left my parents on a bad term. I sigh wiping my tears. I sit up easily so the bed doesnt squeak. Adrian already threatened me so i wont leave. I silently cry hugging my knees to my chest. i think about my night mare.
I was stuck, but where? I struggle as water surrounds me. My leg. It was stuck. Something hd a hold of it, pulling me under. The fate man sat on the dock smoking. I notice a dead person floating near me. I grab ahold of it hoping it could help me stay above water. Adrian was the body. Tough.. the body wasnt dead anymore! Adrian wrapped his hands around my throught so i couldnt breath.
I flinch back to reality. The room lights up quickley and Thunder booms rumbling the building. I wipe my tears and lay down. My heart races. I hate Thunder storms, btw! The room lights up again. I cover my ears and close my eyes. Its okay Arianna! You are in a feild on a warm sunny day. Hey! it can be a candy field! Yeah, Lollipop trees, twizzler grass, smartie flowers, skittle rainbows (Taste the Rainbow. Sorry i had to), and chocolate sticks! Mmmm, food! My stoach growls. Damn Adrian! Damn food! But the candy feild is mine! I hear a big crash from outside. I jump and look over at Adrian. How the fuck is he still sleeping! The room lights up again. I get up and walk over to him. I poke his nose. He twitches. I poke his nose again.
"Hmm?" he groans.
"Im scared." i say.
Thunder rumbles again. Point proven.
"So?" he sighs opening his eyes.
"C-can i sleep with you?" i mumble.
He looks at my dumbly. I blush embarressed.
"Were you crying?" he asks.
"Bad dream."I state.
He moves over sigh. I smile.
"Just for tonight." i assure laying down a good distance from him.
"Mmhmm" he says.
We lay there. I glance over after a bit and sees him sleeping. I sigh. He doesnt look so bad when he is sleeping. I exhale through my mouth seeing my breath. How cold is it? I stare at his sleeping face. Even though he wasnt smirking like an ass, he still has that dimple on his cheek.
"Dont watch me sleep." he says.
I quickley turn over so i wasnt facing him. I chew on my lip embarresed. The room lights up again. I feel a little better but still chicken. I squeese my eyes shut. Suddenly i feel an arm drap over me and a body press against my back.
"Now stop shivering." he mumbles.
"Jackass! i mumble in a whisper.
I stare at the wall and wait a minute.
"Why did you save me?" i ask.
"He was fat and ugly, anyone should have been saved" he says
"mmhmm" i say.
"And it wasnt right. He could have raped you and killed you. I heard you screaming all the way in the parking lot. I....when something is wrong the normal reaction is go and help." he says.
"oh..well thanks" i say.
"mmhmm" he says
I turn and face him our bodies still pressed together. He pulls me closer to him getting comforable. U sigh.
" Im sorry he did that. I didnt know anything really." he says his breat hot on my neck.
"Its fine shit happens." i say in a whisper.
"I would have killed him...but someone came out and got him arressted. Ialso got my wallet back"He says
"Kill him?" i question.
" he could have done it to more people than just you! You need to stop people like that" he says.
I nod. He trails his fingers along my side. Lightning lights the room up and Thunder rumbles nut i didnt feel scared. I start falling asleep.
"Atleast youre safe." he mumbles.
I feel him put his forehead to mine.
"My only rule is" I yawn "Dont fall in love with me."
"Mmhmm" He mumbles.
I fall asleep feeling safe.
