"You can't do this!" I scream, crying.
"Turn the fuck around! I can do whatever the hell i please!" Adrian roars.
"No! You can't kill me! Please don't! It wasn't my fault!" I cry.
"I dont care! Turn around!" He yells.
I turn back towards the tree. I hear him load the gun. I cry harder and fall to my knees. I look at him again.
"Please dont kill me!" I cry.
"Shut up!" He yells, pointing the gun to me.
"You can't! Please!" I scream.
"Turn the fuck around!" He yells.
I cry more and look down.
"Hey! Who's over there?" A voice calls from my right.
I feel arms wrap around me and lift me up.
"Shh! Be quiet." Adrian says.
I just cant stop crying. He turns and faces me towards him. He puts my face against his chest.
"Shh. I wont kill you. Be quiet. " he says lowly.
I hear leaves crunch. I shake.
" ill give you a second chance. I promise! Be quiet." He says.
I bite my tongue trying to calm down. He pulls me behind a tree away from the opening. Adrian leans against the tree and i lean on him. An old man appears from the trail. He held a chain saw and his pants are covered in saw dust. He looks around and calls out 'hello' a few times. After a minute, he goes up the trail again. Adrian exhales loudly. I look up at his face.
"She took me! I swear! She doesn't know anything besides who i am! I dont know what she thinks about you but i swear she doesn't -" i cry.
He puts his finger to my mouth and shushes me.
"I said its okay. I promise." He says.
I nod staring up at him. The sound of a chain saw pierces my ears.
"Lets go." He says lightly.
He grabs my hand and we walk to the car. He frowns staring up a different trail. He drives up it slowly.
"I dont think we came down this road. " i say.
"I know. " he speaks.
After a minute, a log cabin appears. He stops the car and gets out looking around. He then walks to the cabin cautiously. Is he breaking and entering? I get out and run to him.
"Dont do what i know you'll do!" I say.
"Dont worry. We got this!" He says.
We? I hold onto his arm as we go inside. I look around. The fire is still lit.
"Lets go" he says.
We go into an area that passes for a kitchen. He opens a cabinet door.
"We are stealing his food!" I cry.
"He has more that enough."he says.
I roll my eyes as he grabs a few canned items. I watch as he rearranges the cans to make it look like nothing was taken out of it. He grabs oranges and water too. I nervously look around.
"Come on. Before the man comes. " he says by the door.
He stops dead in his tracks, making me run into him. He looks down the hall. He slowly walks down it and goes into a room. I follow him ghostly. When i enter the room, he already has a few clothes in his arms. We go to the car. He puts everything in and gets in with me. He sets his hand onto mine easily, making my skin tingle.
"Dont leave me." Is all he says.
He gave me a second chance. I cant blow it.
