I look behind us again. The black van turns after we do. The visor was down. All i saw was a chin. I frown and turn back around. Adrian turns again going near an exit. I look through the review mirror. The vans blinkers turn on and comes into our lane.
"Adrian i think we should do something. This can has been following us for a couple hours." I say nervous.
He looks into the mirror and frowns. He turns his blinker on. Shortly after we turn, the van turns, too.
"They defiantly are following us." Adrian says stating the obvious.
"Any plans?" I ask.
"Uh keep looking back until you see a face. Tell me if it's anyone who looks familiar." He demands.
I turn again and stare at the van. We turn several times. The sun disappears. Come on! put the damn visor down! I feel our car jerk as Adrian speeds. The van speeds up a little bit, too. We turn on an exit coming to a toll booth for a bridge. The van waits behind us as Adrian pays. We speed off as the van stops. He swerves the car between other cars. He obviously is speeding!
"Any face yet?" Adrian asks glancing at me for a second.
"No, i think we lost it." I say.
He sighs. We go over a bump that starts out the long bridge. I look out at the glistening due to the low sun. I see a few boats sailing. I frown. I dont live anywhere close to a bridge! I look at Adrian frowning.
"Uh....where are we?" I ask
He shrugs. I widen my eyes.
"So you are just randomly driving?" I freak " you're going to get us lost!"
"Just shut up! I know where we are! Though you don't need to know." He states angrily.
"Why not? You could be a bad navigator you know!" I accuse.
He rolls his eyes not answering me. What a pussy! I cross my arms and look at the water again. I do a double take at the review mirror.
"Uh black van at three o'clock!" I say looking towards the back. "How'd they find us? You are a horrible escape driver!"
"Crap! I thought we lost them!" He swears punching the steering wheel.
"No wait...the visors up!" I say leaning more to get a better look at the person." Its a lady! Oldish. Wait! Hey that is the old lady who was planting!" I look at him after a second " on the road you took me from."
"Jesus Christ! I should just kill you already!" He growls
"UH, no you shouldn't!" I freak.
"We'll its your fault you yelled!" He argues.
"You took me! What was i suppose to do? skip along like everything was okay?" I ask.
"I-just do something to get the lady off our trail!" He demands.
"Like what?" I yell.
"Throw something out the window so it hits her car!" He says.
"Thats so not right! She could die you know!" I gasp.
He glances in his review mirror and tilts his head a bit to the side.
"Looks like she has lived long enough." He decides.
"You're discussing! She is only sixty!" I cry.
"Your point is?" He asks looking at me with a frown.
"You should just go die! You are a big stupid meanie and you belong in a mental facility!" I growl.
"Look who's talking! You belong in one, too. You are so annoying and such a bitch! No wonder why no one likes-" he starts.
"Red light!" I panic noticing ahead.
Dumb jerk wasn't paying attention to the road! I grip the wheel turning us to the proper lane. We both swerve. Car horns fill my hearing as we dodge the intersection our tires screech and we jerk straight. We lived? I look back. Cars were in the ditch or to the side, slanted from just missing us. I realized th black van stopped at the red light. I look ahead and swallow loudly. He clears his throat, shift in in his seat.
"How about we just call it a night." He says lightly.
