Chapter five

Rule #5:Distruction comes with a price.

After my talk with Blake I headed home in my car. I couldn't help the feeling that something something really bad was about to happen.

I got out of my car and rushed up to the house and inside. Death...death was all I could feel.

There was blood all over the furniture. I started to feel dizzy. My knees gave out and buckled underneath me and I let the darkness consume me.

I woke up in strong arms. I honestly didn't want to move. I couldn't move, my head was pounding and I felt dizzy.

I looked up to see my capture. And it was nether than less,Rylan. But he was asleep. He look so peaceful. I reached up and ran my hand over his face. And his eyes fluttered open.

"Where am I",I asked quietly. I knew this wasn't my house...my house. Oh my God. My house was a bloody mess. The feeling of death. It all came back to me. I immediately got up.

"What am I doing here!?",I asked. But he just kept looking at me like I was something new. I looked down and realized what he was looking at.

"Where are my clothes!?",I said. I was in my black lace under wear.

"When you fainted you fell in some blood",he explained. I looked at him then a thought crossed my mind that he-

"Liora I can promise you,that thought never even crossed my mind",he said. Rylan got up from the couch as soon as my eyes started to sting.

He wrapped his arms around me as I hid in his chest. Tears spilled from eyes as I looked up at him.

"Are they dead",I asked him. He looked down at me.

"No. But one of the elders are",he answered.

"Which one",I asked.

"I think her name was Camile",he said. I couldn't bring myself to feel any thing for Camile. I already knew she hated me she said so five years ago,but that's another story.

"Do you want to get dress I brought some of your clothes for you",he said. I nodded and he hand me my clothes.

I went into the bathroom and got dressed in a red v neck t-shirt,dark wash Jeans and brown moccasins.

I looked into the mirror. My eyes were red and my face was puffy from crying. I splashed some water on my face and pulled myself together.

I stepped into the hallway and walked into the room I was in with Rylan.

"Feel better?",he asked while getting up from the couch he was sitting on. I nodded. I couldn't speak,I was scared I would cry again. But I did the best I could.

"What happened to my family"?,I said.

"Liora-

"Tell me",I demanded.

"The hounds got them",he said defeated.I started to cry again.

He was by my side in an instant.

"Everything is going to be fine",he said while rubbing my back.

Then a though crossed my mind...that maybe he could be the one doing all this stuff.

I stepped away from him and wrapped my arms around myself.

I looked straight into his eyes.

"Rylan,how did you find me?",I asked.

"I was coming to visit you, and I smelled hounds so I walked in through the front door and..... I found you ",he said. "Honestly I will kill Lilith myself for making you cry".
