I clung onto Rylan,trying to calm him down. It appeared to be working because his breathing started to even out more.

"Rylan,calm down",I tried my best to sooth him. He responded by hugging me back.

"I'm sorry",he said to me. Then I saw all the attention we were,getting.

"What happened",asked Danny as he made his way over. Danny was one of the instructors,for the kids program,this summer.

"Hey Danny",I said. His gaze moved between me and Rylan. Unfortunately,Danny was Max's brother,also making him a werewolf,too. This gym was owned by the near by pack. They used it to train the younger wolves,and for prophit.

Rylan was not going to turn down,after what just happened,if he gets too stressed.

Our attention turned to Max when he stirred awake,and looked to be in pain. I looked at Rylan,who was glaring at Max,then back at Danny,who had a questioning look on his face.

"Liora,what happened",Danny asked again. I watched as Max was helped of the floor,and ice was placed on the side of his head,and as Max shot a death glare at Rylan. If looks could kill,well you know the rest.

I did not like how Max was acting,he was being a total ass.

"Liora",Danny said,gaining my attention.

"Max is being a little bitch",I said,getting frustrated.

"Hold on",he replied before walking over to Max.

"Liora,I'm-",Rylan started,but I cut him off.

"Save it,Max shouldn't have done that,he learned his lesson,might have some brain damage,but he'll be fine",I before kissing his cheek. He nodded,in contempt.

"Um,Liora he wants to talk to",said Danny,as he walked,back over to us. He glanced over at Rylan,as if he was looking for approval from him. "Where is he",I asked.

"He's in the infirmary,with the nurse",he replied.

"Ok",I said,before he got back to his program.

"Go talk to him,I'll be waiting outside for you",Rylan said,when I turned to him.

"You sure",I asked,a little bit surprised,by him saying this. He nodded,before leaving a lingering kiss on my lips. "Ok".

I walked into the infirmary,to find Max sitting on the bed,as the nurse put a bandage on his left temple. "I'll leave you two alone",the nurse said,with a small smile."Thanks",I said back.

"What the hell was that",I said,while folding my arms,after the nurse left.

"Liora calm-",he didn't get to finish.

"Don't tell me to calm down",I snapped.

"Liora,I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that",he said with a sigh.

"Damn right",I said.

"But he's a hellhound,God's sake",he said anger apparent in his voice.

"I already know what he is",I retorted.

"But why him,why not-",he didn't finish. The words hung in the air,incomplete.

"Why not,what",I asked. He didn't answer instead stared at me. I didn't like how he was looking at me. There was disgust in his eyes.

"Don't look at me like that",I said harshly.

"How could you let him do that",he said,still staring at me.

"What,you deserved it",I snapped,getting more angry than I was before.

"Not that",he said while getting up and walking up to me."This",he pointed to my neck. My hand instantly shot up to my neck.

"He marked you",he said,his eyes getting dark.

"That's none of your business",I said,quietly.

"It is",he said,looking down at me.

"Urgh,why are you acting like this",I growled. He narrowed his eyes at me. He started getting close,too close for my liking. But I didn't budge,I had to stand my ground. He was trying to show who had more power. He's the Beta of his pack,so it was a trait he carried. He obviously didn't like,that I wasn't backing down,when he grabbed my shoulders and pressed me against the wall. Hard enough to send pain running down my spine. He placed his hands by either side of my head.

"I don't like your tone",he growled,at me.

"You're acting like a jackass",I spat.

"He's trying to claim you",he said,through clenched teeth. I could see the rage in his eyes.

"Maybe he already has me",I said looking straight into his eyes. He returned my stare.

"No",he said while shaking his head,"you two haven't even mated yet. If you did I'd be able to smell it".

"So what does it matter to you",I snapped at him. He looked away. I was getting annoyed at this point.

"You don't get it",he said,while stepping back,but was still close.

"No I don't",I said.

"Liora...",He said,while grabbing onto my waist.

"What",I snapped. Instead of answering,he embraced me.

"I'm sorry", he said into my hair.

"You and Rylan have to get along,you know",I said. He nodded while pulling away,just enough to look into my eyes. "I'll try",he said before placing a kiss on my forehead.

I turned,to look at the door when I heard it open. Max tightened his grip on my waist when he saw it was Rylan. Oh Lord,I thought.

"Get off of her",Rylan said while pulling me into his chest. Max growled at him.

"Rylan,I know this looks bad,but nothing happened",he glared down at me.

"We're leaving",he said,while dragging me by my waist,out the infirmary. We were half way out the gym,and his grip on my waist was starting to hurt. So I stopped walking.

"Let go of me",I demanded. He glared back at me. "And stop looking at me like that",I said,getting upset,by his actions. He didn't say anything. Just continued on his way out.

"Urgh",I said while,following.
