Chapter 11

Rule #11: My thoughts you can't decode. -Paramore

After my talk with Rylan,we went to sit in the living room,to wait for Shannon to get back.

I'm surprised that Danielle hasn't called yet. I feel bad for abandoning her with Jay.

I sat right next to Rylan who was fast asleep,with one arm behind his head,and the other his arm around me. I wonder what he's dreaming,I thought. I could-no. I can't do that,violate,his thoughts like that.

But I could. I have the ability to read what people are thinking. I stopped using it a while ago,because then I start to,unintentionally hear everyone's thoughts,and its soo annoying.

I looked at Rylan's face,who really upset,even with his eyes closed,I could tell. He was putting off a bad vibe.

I wanted to know what was upsetting him.

"Here goes nothing",I said before leaning back,and closing my eyes. I let Rylan's thoughts enter my mind.

*Rylan's dream*

"Stop Lilith,I don't want you",I said while pushing her off of me,then standing up from the couch.

"Yes you do",she said with a seductive smile. One that didn't work on me. She reached out for me,and I stepped back.

"How could you do this to me",she yelled at me."after everything I did for you,this is the thanks I get. I'm in love with you,Rylan,and I know you love me too,you killed Jaden for me",she said.

"I did it as an order,not love",I said. And little did she know Jaden is actually alive.

"Find then how about I get rid of your soon mate",that got her my full attention.

"What",I said confused.

"That's right your going to meet her,in a few months. When you meet her I want you to reject her to be with me,if you don't I will destroy her",she finished.

I can't let her do anything to my mate. I most likely don't have one,but I know Lilith will take any innocent girl and ruin her." Like I have one",I said

"Oh,believe me you do",she said,"so..Why don't you give me tonight",she said,before taking my hand in hers and pulling me over to the couch."fine,but this is the last time",I said,before laying her down,and locking lips with her.

*end of Rylan's dream*

When I came out of his thoughts I was furious at him. And Lilith,bitch touch my man one more time-she's never gonna see the day of light again,I'll be sure of that.

I stood up from the couch,which Rylan didn't seem to take well. He awoke with a shocked expression. Now I feel bad. But not so bad as to not be mad anymore.

"Are you ok",he said,with worry apparent in his eyes.

"No,I'm not ok",I said.

"What's wrong",he asked,while getting up.

"What's wrong is that you used to toy around with Lilith",I said. He looked away and ran a hand through his hair. Then he looked at me like he came to a realization.

"Wait,how'd you know about that",he asked. "Liora",he said,when I didn't answer.

"I read your mind",I said,while looking at the floor.

"You can read minds",he asked. I looked up at him and nodded.

"Yes,and I didn't like what I saw",I said.

"Look,I'm sorry about what you saw",he said before hugging me."I wish I never even met Lilith". At that I hugged him back."What else can you do",he asked,while looking down at me.

"You'll see soon",I said before kissing his cheek.

"Ok",he said,with a chuckle.

Then I heard the front door open. I turned to see it was Shannon and Castiel.

"Hello",Shannon said,"come on in guys". Then Jay,Danielle,Blake,Jesse,Mason,and Bella walked in with duffle bags.
