You really didn’t know how it happened: you were just talking on your couch, and suddenly you were screaming. He was amazing, but sometimes he could be such a jerk! He had this childish behavior, always setting up prank. You liked them, sometimes, but not that day. You told him you had a bad day at work and he didn’t really cut it off anyway. Plus, you were starting too have bad feelings about him. You hated it, but you realized you were starting to be jealous. You could feel it whenever you were at one of his concert, whenever you walked down the street and you got that kind of looks from girls. You could just feel it, and you were so angry at yourself for doing that. But you really couldn’t help it. You always kept the perfect smile, pretending this wasn’t one of your biggest fear, but you knew you lose all the boundaries when you got angry.

“Could you stop being such a child? I told you I’m not in the mood!”

He grunted. “I’m not the child here! Do you realize it’s always about yourself? You never care for the others! I had a bad day too, I was hoping to feel better at home with my girlfriend, instead you’re being grumping and boring!”

“Then why are you still here if I bore you?! Why are you even still with me if that’s so!? You should find someone who doesn’t bore you!”

He stood in front of you, frozen. His eyes were staring into yours like he didn’t know what to say.

“What are you…”

“Cut it off, Scott.” You sighed trying to regain your rational thoughts. “I’m sorry, that was not fair.”

He didn’t say anything. He just turned away from you and walked into the other room. You sighed again starting to feel tears in your eyes. You needed a break. You got in your room and changed your outfit into a running one. You pulled your hair into a ponytail and went in the hall. You wrote a note to Scott telling him you were going jogging and you rushed through the door.

Later:

The run really helped. You felt like an idiot the whole time, but you were now feeling a lot better. You stepped into the appartment and called for him, but you heard no answer. You looked around and saw the note you had wrote before you left sticked on the wall turned backward. ‘Follow me’ was all that it said, under an arrow that was pointing at the living room. You frowned heading to the living room. You saw your laptop started on the coffee table and a CD placed onto it. You sitted on the couch and read the note that was written on the CD. ‘Play me.’

You obliged and after a couple of seconds a video was playing on your screen. You immediately felt tears in your eyes: yours and Scott’s song was playing while your pics together were going through. You chuckled at one of them: it was taken at an Halloween party the year before and Scott’s was dressed up as a cowboy while you were a cowgirl. You were just laughing and crying all through the video, and when you thought it was done, a writing was now on the screen. ‘Turn around’

You knew what you would have found and in fact you were already smiling by the time you turned your head. Scott was behind you, a smile on his face. You just jumped and hugged him tight.

“I’m sorry, I was acting like a child...”

“I didn’t mean to tell you those things…”

“I love you. Only you, you are my girlfriend and nothing is going to change that, you don’t have to worry about that.”

He placed a kiss on your lips and as always it wiped away all your fears.
