(A/N There's gonna be like a hella lot of dialogue so lol beware)

Mandy's P.O.V.

I still woke back up that night. I'm still so tired. I still want to give up. I want to die. I feel depressed. I'm afraid of everything. I feel like I'm slowly being suffocated.

I sat up in bed, being careful not to wake Jc. I stood and grabbed my phone from the side table and dialed in Connor's number. After about 2 rings he picked up.

"Hello?" I heard a slow voice answer

"Hi, it's me, Mandy"

"I have caller I.D. but ok." I heard him reply in a sassy tone

"Wow what a bitch!" I muttered

"And I heard that, I'm not a bitch it's just 3 in the morning"

"Fine, but anyways I was calling because I need someone to vent to."

"Ok enlighten me."

"Well-" I told him about everything that had happened recently. The reason I called Connor was because he was the best listener and advice giver.

"So, why are you still there" He asked simply

"I don't know I was hoping you could tell me that!" I said in a pleading whisper

"Well it evidently seems like you are in slightly peril danger so why don't you come stay with me."

"Ok well can you come and get me?" I asked

"Mandy it is still 3 in the morning"

"And? Like you said I'm in peril danger so irregardless of whether it's 3 or not do you want me to die?"

"Oh lord, ok I'm coming" He said about to hang up

"Don't hang up yet! I don't know what to do and I'm scared" I whined

"Well you place one foot in front of-"

"Shut the hell up I'm not incompetent, do I bring anything?"

"No, and I'm here"

"Ok bye"

I slipped out the door quietly and started down the stairs. I opened the front door slowly and saw Connor's bright blue Jeep in front of the house (A/N I don't really know what car he drives but I feel like he would drive a blue jeep because he's cute and so are jeeps)

"Hey" He said as I got into the car

"Hi" I said leaning in to give him a hug. He squeezed back tightly

We were driving for a couple of minutes, when we got to his apartment. I really liked the way he did his furniture, it was all blue and black with little swirls.

"I like your house, it's really cozy" I said sitting down on the couch

"Thanks!" He said cheerfully "Do you want anything to drink?"

"The usual" I said referring to our signature Tazo Acai Blackberry Mango Tea with a spritz of lemon.

"Ok baby" Connor playfully said

I took off my shoes and crossed my legs. I grabbed the remote and switched the TV on.

"What is there to watch?" I asked curiously

"I don't know try MTV"

I changed it to MTV and luckily Connor & I's favorite show was on.

"Con Da Bon, they're showing reruns of Daria oh my gosh come watch!" I shouted like a little 5 year old

"Yay!" He replied.

He sat next to me and we glued our eyes to the TV for about 2 hours. I rested my head in his lap and he played with my hair.

"Mandy, can I ask you a question?"

"Mhm" I replied

"Are you okay?"

I really had to think about this answer for a while. I mean, was I ok?

"No" I choked out. "No, I'm not, I don't understand why evrybody sees me as such an easy target. I don't know why all the bad things have to happen to me. Why do bad things happen to me? I try to be nice to everyone and smile and do as I'm told. Only speak when I'm spoken to. I try to be the perfect little puppet on a string. The perfect girlfriend, but I just end up getting hurt all the time." I said, crying by now

"Shh, it's ok, they don't deserve you. I love you and that's all that matters ok?" He said

I nodded, closed my eyes, and dreamt that everything would be better
