I don't know where I'm going, where I can go but all I know is that its somewhere that's not the barn

I couldn't help but cry, I really cared about her and all I get in the end is shouted at and told to leave

My heart shattered when she told me to leave... now I'm empty

All I can do know is run, run where no one could find me

-Lapis' POV-

It's been a day since Peridot left and she hasn't come back, I thought she'd just come back but she hasn't

I hear the warp pad activate and hope that it was Peridot but it was only Steven, who was already running towards me

"Lapis! Has Peridot come back yet?"

"No why?"

"The gems have been looking everywhere and went to every warp pad location and still couldn't find her, not even Garnet could use her future vision to find her... I'm worried Lapis..."

"It's okay Steven, I'm sure she'll be fine"

"Anyways I got to go back and help the others look, bye Lapis"

"Bye Steven"

"Oh yeah, I got pearl to fix the tape recorder, here"

He tosses me the tape recorder that I broke and I just stared at it as he warped away

Looking at it I pressed some of the other buttons and figured out how it functions

I listened to Peridot's logs all up to yesterdays, since I could hear her screaming her log that day

Right when I was about to put it down, thinking the next words would be mine, I hear her say another log that I didn't hear

"Log date 7.18.2 #3 (I just assumed the date) all attempts to make Lazuli have failed, I am hoping that this last idea will work, Steven suggested that I gave her a peice of me, something I like, which means I'm giving my most important object to Lazuli, I hope after this she can open up and we can become friends! Or atleast get her to stop hating me. Peridot Facet 5 end log"

Once that log I immediately hear a familiar line

"I don't want your garbage..."

Then the audio cuts out, right when I crushed the device

As I just took in what I hear from the device, I feel a few gears roll down my cheek, I realize what I've done, I hurt her when she tried to help me

I felt a throbbing feeling in my heart, a feeling, needing Peridot beside me...

"I need to find her..."

I take out my water wings and take off to find her

"Where are you Peridot?"
