Zack and Briley pulled into Matt and Val's driveway. They got out of the car and walked into the house. Everyone was chilling in different areas of the house. Briley and Zack was greeted by everyone and lastly by Johnny who was in the kitchen making drinks.

"BRILEY!! I missed you sooo much!", Johnny said drunkenly and hugged Briley.

"Awww, I missed you too.", Briley said hugging him back.

"And my boy Zacky V!! What's up my brotha?", Johnny said and hugged Zack.

"Dude you're drunk off your ass.", Zacky said and helped Johnny to a kitchen chair.

"Stop me before I get like that tonight.", Zack said walking back over to Briley and poured them drinks.

Briley chuckled and took a sip from her glass. They both went into the living room and hung out with everyone. Briley went into the kitchen to get another beer from the fridge. Then she felt a pair of strong arms snake around her waist. She turned around to meet those gorgeous green eyes that she loved so much.

"Well hello there.", Briley said.

"Can we go home?", Zack asked.

"Are you sure you want to leave? We've only been here for like 2 hours, if that.", Briley asked wrapping her arms around Zack's neck.

"Yeah. I want to spend time with you... Just you.", Zack answered. Briley really didn't want to leave, she loved hanging out with everyone but if it made Zack happy... She let out a light sigh.

"Sure. Let's go home.", Briley said and gave Zack a peck on the lips. Zack took Briley's hand in his and headed back into the living room.

"Guys, we're leaving.", Zack said heading towards the door pulling Briley along.

"WAIT!!!", Johnny yelled. Zack and Briley turned around. All eyes were on them.

"Why are you guys leaving? You just got here.", Michelle asked.

"I'm really tired.", Zack said.

"Ok then? Well all the guys are going to the gym tomorrow. You going to come?", Brian asked.

"Uhhh... I can't.", Zack responded and turned towards the door again. Briley pulled her hand away from his.

"Zack, why not? You haven't hung out with the guys in a while.", Briley questioned.

"Just because... I have stuff that I have to do with VU.", he said opening the door.

"No you don't. Everything is up to date.", Briley said. Zack just left and slammed the door behind him. Briley looked back at everyone. She really felt bad for leaving a party that was for her in the first place.

"I'm sorry.", Briley said and left. Zack was already in the car waiting. She got in the car and he pulled out of the driveway.

"Are you alright? You seem on edge.", Briley asked finally breaking the awkward silence between the two.

"I know I haven't hung out with the guys in a while but I also haven't spent time with you today. I just want to spend the day with you tomorrow. Let's just watch movies.", Zack said.

"I guess we can do that. I mean I was going to go out with the girls tomorrow night but I'll stay home if it makes you happy.", Briley said.

The rest of the car ride was silent. When they got to the house, Zack stormed off into the house. Briley was tired of his mood swings that he just went through during the past hour. She stormed into the house and slammed the door behind her. This stopped Zack in his tracks, who was already half way up the stairs.

"What the hell is your problem? Your PMSing more than any female I know.", Briley said with a hint of anger in her voice.

"I want to spend time with you and you want to spend time with the girls! That's my problem.", Zack said and stormed into the bedroom. Briley let out a heavy sigh.

"You've got to be kiding me.", Briley said to herself. She made her way upstairs into their bedroom.

"You clearly didn'y listen to what I said in the car. I said that I was going to go out with the girls. Then I said that I would cancel that to spend time with you.", Briley said taking off her clothes and walked into the closet where Zack was getting changed.

"No... it's fine. If you want to spend more time with the girls than your boyfriend then go ahead.", Zack said.

"You're acting like child.", Briley scoffed.

"Whatever.", Zack said and got into bed.

Briley got changed into her pajamas and went downstairs into the kitchen to make Ramen noodles. Then she went into the living room and watched some episodes of The Walking Dead.

"You're not coming to bed?", Zack questioned from the top of the stairs.

"I'm not tired and I'm not going to sleep in the same bed with someone who goes through more mood swings than I do.", Briley said not taking her eyes off the TV.

Zack sighed and went downstairs and turned the TV off. He then sat on the coffee table across from where Briley was sitting on the couch.

"I was watching that.", Briley said.

"Bri... I'm sorry for acting like that.", Zack said.

"Like what?", Briley questioned.

"Like a child... It's just after everything that happened with Jax. It made me realize that I want to spend more time with you. What happens if that happens again and something worse happens?", Zack said.

"I appreciate you wanting to spend more time with me and I want nothing more than to spend more time with you but I have other friends who I want to see. Like tonight, it was a welcome home party for me and I left before the party even got good.", Briley explained.

Zack then moved to sit next to her. She laid her head on his shoulder and he kissed her head.

"I know.", Zack said and laced his fingers with Briley's.

"I promised you before and I'll continue to say it everyday until it gets through to you. I'm not going anywhere. Jax is in jail, so he can't get to me. Plus I have you to protect me.", Briley said.

"I wasn't there to protect you when it happened the first time.", Zack said. Briley got up and sat on Zack's lap so that she was straddling his lap. She looked into his eyes.

"I know you weren't but you gave me your blood so that I could live. Isn't that enough? You saved me way more than anyone else could. Please don't beat yourself up for not being here when that happened. It's going to tear you down and it's going to affect me. Words will never describe how thankful I am because of you. Not just because of the blood thing but because you gave me what I've been longing for... Love. I've never had anyone love me as much as you do."

"I've also never opened myself this way to anyone, like I do with you. You've taught me that I can't face this world alone and now I won't have to because of you. You saved me from myself and I love you soooo much for that.", Briley said pouring her heart out.

Zack nodded and pulled Briley into the most passionate kiss that either of them have ever had. It was full of care and affection. They both needed each other more than they knew.

"I love you, Briley.", Zack said stroking her cheek. Briley smiled and kissed him again.

"Now we can go to bed.", Briley said getting up off Zack. She grabbed his hand and walked upstairs into their room. Briley laid down and Zack laid his head on her chest. Briley traced the outline of his Vengeance tattoo on his back.

"Go with the girls tomorrow.", Zack said gently rubbing her bandaged wound.

"It's fine. You want to spend more time with me. I'll stay with you tomorrow and watch movies. The girls will understand.", Briley said.

Zack nodded and soon fell asleep. Briley kissed the top of Zack's head and soon fell asleep herself.
