I was rushed to the Justice League base, on earth, and was saved from my family members. I was slightly awake and the only sound I could hear was the monitor, keeping my heart beat in check. I thought I had a really bad dream about my family and I'll just be at Phoenix Drop when I open my eyes.
I opened my eyes, then, remembered everything that happened ever since Phoenix Drop, and a silent tear rolled down my face. I looked around the room and saw a lot of beds, and a sleeping Crimson Wolf, by my side. Despite the sorrow I was in, I quietly chuckled then the pain came rushing to me, I closed my eyes tightly wanting the pain to go away.
I was holding something in my hand, and when the pain came, I squeezed it tightly. Crimson awoke, it seemed thing I was holding was his hand, he saw that I was in pain and gave me something. He brushed my hair, that was on my face, away and checked everything to make sure I was okay.
"Shhhh it's okay. It's all over, Red. Their all gone, their all in prison." He said with calm words, I smiled at his words. There was a mirror in front of me and in it's reflection was Dr. Destiny. I looked over to Crimson as he stood up and transformed into him.
"What do you want?" I said aggravated, I tried to move but more pain was inflicted upon me. This is just a dream nothing's real it's all fake. I thought, trying to reassure myself.
"To have some fun. It's been along time since I've brought pain to someone." He said cracking a smirk. I was frozen solid, I couldn't move I was stiff with fear. I wanted to be in Crimson's strong arms keeping me safe, but that wasn't going to happen any time soon.
"That's not going to happen, John." I had leverage, I knew everything about him and he knew nothing about me. I knew his past, I knew what he went through, I knew what he did. I got up from the hospital bed, still in my uniform, trying to ignore the pain.
"You don't think that's going to happen?" He laughed a bit and walked around the room. "Well, I have other plans for you today." He said then smirked evilly. Well, I thought I had leverage but I guess I was wrong. Nothing was going to work on this guy, no matter how hard I tried.
"This is just a dream and nothing can hurt me because it's not real and you're immobile in real life. Oh and I have a question for you, how did you get into my dreams?!"
"I am immobile but I can still use my powers and you were the closest person to me that was sleeping."
"So I'm in an enteral nightmare just because of pure bad luck?" I asked sitting on the edge of the bed.
"I wouldn't call it 'bad luck' it's more like destiny." He said that then everything around us changed.
Into nightmare
Me and the team, or what's left of them, were in the jungle, trying to get away from my family. "Where's Crimson?" I asked concerned, he came running up, as fast as he could.
"I'm right... here, but they're... not that... far behind." He said, out of breath.
"Okay let's get out of here, then." I said and the others nodded. We went into open rage, and that was a big mistake. We were trying to get out, taking cover anywhere.
"Well, I think we need a plan to get out of this place!" Conner yelled, he was angrier then usual but I don't blame him Wonder Girl, M'gann, Lagoon Boy, Beast Boy, Bumble Bee, Guardian, Artemis, Wally, Nightwing, Blue Beetle, and Bat Girl were all dead. I started thinking of a plan, me, Conner, Robin, Crimson Wolf, and Rabid Bear were the only ones left outside the rest of the team went inside.
"Okay I have a plan!" They all turned their attention toward me. "Robin, Conner, Crimson Wolf, and Rabid Bear you guys make your way towards the ship while I make the distraction!" Crimson ran, as fast as he could, up to me.
"Are you insane? Your not going to do that, you'll die." He said holding my hand.
"I don't care if I die, if I save you. My sacrifice will be worth it." I said tilting his chin up a bit, parting our hands.
"I'm sorry but if you want to save them you're going to have to go through me." I backed up as far as I could, which wasn't that far. Crimson got out a knife "I'm sorry, Red, but this has to be done." He said with a tears dropping from his eyes. He got closer to me, I couldn't believe it he was going to kill me, he put the knife into me, quickly with pain in his heart. He pulled the knife out as I dropped to the ground. I couldn't believe it he was killing me, no he killed me.
End of nightmare
