Dr. Destiny Part 2

  I was alone in enteral darkness. It was just me and my heart aching thoughts. Why couldn't I wake up from this nightmare, put by Dr. Destiny? Why can't I go home and be happy? Just why, why am I the one who always gets hurt? I have so many unanswered questions with no answer.

  The scenery was black, pitch black. You couldn't even see your hand, if you put it in front of your face. There were no walls, it was just a infinite room. There was no ceiling, no anything except a floor but that was it.

  I was on the floor, alone, depressed, hurt, scared and I just want to go home. Why is life so cruel? Honestly, I don't know, I really don't know. We're just put here to play a part in a chess game. A game of cruelty and hopelessness. Where there's no escape from darkness, from sadness, from death itself.

  I heard someone walk up to me. I heard him pull something out of his pocket and lit a match. The face was of a young man in a drench coat and he had a fedora on. He looked a lot like one of my brothers, Jonathan. He held out his hand, asking me if I wanted help in action, and I grabbed his hand, gratefully. After I was on my feet the man left, putting his hands in his pockets and leaving without a word. The light, from the match, was gone when he walked away.

  The scenery changed into a beautiful field of flowers. There was light, I could actually see. Someone was standing in the field not that far away from me. I walked up to the person and it was Dr. Destiny. I wasn't bothered by him, at least right now. "Why did you make this?"

"Because I want you to have a happy moment before I do what I'm going to do." I took it all in before everything changed again.

Into another nightmare

This time I was in the watchtower being told about a mission the team was going on. As I stood there I thought. I can't believe nobody had figured out that Mind Hack is my brother. Suddenly, the alarm went off we scouted out the area, looking for the intruder. We finally found Mind Hack with my cousin, Sammy, and her father, Roland. "Why hello, Ellie." Sammy said happy and all.

"Hi, Sammy." I said gritting my teeth. My teammates were by my side but I needed to fight this on my own. I looked at Mind Hack and he smirked at me. I knew what he was going to do and there was no stopping him.

"Nice to see you again, Ellie, or should I say," my eyes grew big in that single moment. I couldn't stop what he was going to say, nobody could "sister." Everyone in the room looked at me with disappointed eyes, as if I should've told them.

That was it I had enough of him. I ran right up to him and threw a couple of good punches. I kept on punching him until he couldn't move, but he couldn't die, right? When I saw what I had done and ran onto one of the spaceships and fled back to earth.

I flew back to earth in pieces, the entire Justice League was hunting me down now. I was walking and I approached someone but they coward in fear, protecting themselves. I was alone, everyone feared me, they feared me hurting them or their families. I guess, I'm a monster now, forever. I ran into an alleyway, I wanted to be alone but I think that made it worse. I sat down, with my knees to my face. I didn't know what to do, emotions were overwhelming me so I finally cried. A bright light appeared and the people who came out I thought I would never see again.
