Chapter 41

Jeni's P.O.V

I was really tired of studying continuously for five hours. I was really feeling very hungry when christo asked me if I was tired. Of course I was but I got his point that he too is hungry. We both decided to make spaghetti.
We both were cooking when someone called me. My both hands wer full so I asked him to take up the call.
I was hearing him.
"Who is there?" He asked on phone.

fter sometime he said,""Yes who is on the other side may I know?" I could see that there was a female on the other side from the way he was talking on the phone. After nodding a few seconds he shouted "whatttt!!!".
I eeally didn't know who was there and what just happened that Christo was so shocked.
"What happened?" I asked
"I am just coming" he said on the phone and cut the call.
"Who was there and what happened?" I asked again.
"It was Stacy, Ansel met with an accident few hours ago and he is in the ICU in critical condition" Christo said.
I felt a lump in throat
"What!" I said, I was shell shocked. Why god bad things happen to good people?.
Ansel is one of my best friend. I really love the way he teased me or say his flirty coments. No god please keep him safe.
"Jeni!" Christo said as he put his hands over my shoulders.
"We need to go to the hospital now" he said. I came back from all my thoughts but I was still feeling numb. I got into the car as Christo drived it. Wd were soon in the hospital.
Christo held my hand and we both rushed to the ICU.
Stacy and Alice were sitting on a bench. And they both were looking pale. I went to them and hugged Stacy and she started to cry.
"Is he fine now?" I asked shaking her.
"No he is still in critical condition and chances are ver low" as she said tears started flowing out of my eyes.
"I will talk to the doc. I know him" Christo said as he placed his hand over Stacy's shoulder.
"Nothing will happen to him" I said wipping my tears off. She nodded.
"How this all happened" Christo asked as he took a seat beside her, he just told us that doctor said that he will try his level to save Ansel's life.
"Its all my fault, It all happened because of me, If I had not ............
