Chapter 68

Her face was hidden under the pillows. She was cold and crying continuously. I slowly kept the cold Ice bag on the bruise.
"Ouch" she half shouted and half whispered. She snapped at me. She had a surprising look on her face.
"I am so sorry" I said.
She did not say anything. She was just staring at me. I can't believe I gave her so much pain. I have to make up my mistake.
"I am sorry" I said again as I went closer to hug her. And to my surprise she pushed me.
"Its over Christo" she said firmly.
"Its not over Jeni, I love you" I said
"Haa, you yanked my arm, gave me a bruise, shouted at me for something that you don't even know about and then you say you love me" she said.
"What can I do to make up my mistake?" I asked.
"For now just get out of here, I don't even want to see you" she shouted pointing at the door and started sobbing. I made the girl I love cry. I really don't know what to do.
Not to worry her, I decided to leave her for sometime.

Jeni's POV

"Ouch" I said as I felt something cold on my arm which had bruise. I snapped to look what it was. I was surprise to see Christo there.
"I am sorry" he said. Is it a dream or he is really here with me. I just stared at him.
"I am sorry" he said again as he bend closer to me probably to hig me. No its not a dream. Christo is sitting right infront of me and is asking me to forgive him. How can he even think that I will forgive him? He saw me with someone else and thought that I cheated on him, how can he think that I will do such a thing to him and when I tried to explain, he shouted at me, he yanked my arm.
"Its over Christo" I said trying to hold back my tears, it was all over when I threw my promise ring on him.
"Its not over Jeni, I love you" he said. Is he stupid, do he really think I can believe him after what all he did.

"For now just get out of here, I dont even want to see you" I shouted pointing at the door. I just won't let him win that easily what does he thi if he will say sorry I will forgive him, I can't forgive although if I wan't to.
I took a deep breath as he left the place.
My eyes are getting heavier and my head is spinning maybe this all is happening because I did not eat anything since yesterday. Its two in the afternoon and my stomach is making noises. I really don't feel like eating but I have to else I will faint.

I went downstairs to the kitchen after washing my eyes with cold water.
I saw cloche on the dining table. There was a sticky note sticked to it.
It was written:

Love,
I am really sorry, I know I outbursted, please forgive me, I made lunch for you.
Christo ♡

I removed the cloche and saw freshly made pancakes with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I decided to eat it. As I took my first bite, the different flavours mixed in my mouth as it melted like heaven. It tasted so good.
But still I am pissed at him how can he even do that? We were best friends before. He knew every secret of mine.

I was finishing my pancakes when I heard the opening sound of the door knob and some one entering.
I moved back and saw Jake and Stacy coming inside. Stacy was in Jake's hands. They both were laughing and smiling at each other, I could see they had a blast time together.
"Jeni what happened your eyes are red?" Stacy said as soon as she lioked at me. My eyes were puffed and read tho I washe it with cold water.
"Just lack of sleep from last night" I lied as I did not want to spoil there mood.
I went and hugged Jake tightly.
"I missed you Jake" I said as I rested my chin in te crook of his head. I tried my level best to control my tears.
"Are you alright Jeni?" He asked rubbing my back.
"You are cold" he said.
"Yes I am very fine I just need a little sleep, so you both enjoy" I said as I headed back to my room. As soon as I entered my room I burst out crying. I was missing Christo.
I changed myself into my pj's and went back to bed to have a nap.

Christo's POV

I was sitting in my living room with Levis trying to figure out something to undo my mistake.
Beep! Beep! I checked my phone, Jake was calling me, I think he is back maybe Jeni told him everything and he is mad at me now.
"Hello" I said answering the call.
