Meeting Lonette (A Phantom of the Opera story)

It has been three years since the opera house has been shut down and Christine has moved on and has made a family with Raoul. They had a little boy and his name is Gustave. He just turn 6 months and keeps getting bigger. Christine can't believe how big he has gotten. She can remember how small he was when she fist hold him in her arms. She can tell her baby boy will grow up to be a quite handsome man, like his father.

Also after marrying Raoul she is now entered to the upper class. And since then Christine adjusted to her upper class living and she even started her own business. She started her own clothing boutique with her old time friend . Her boutique has been going well and she even expect to open another one soon.

One day Christine visited a friend with her son. It was quite a long ride from her home. About an hour ride from her home but she really needs to catch up with Teresa. She is one of the first friend that welcomed her into the upper society. When she first went to the gatherings and parties of the upperclassmen many were weary to approach her especially after the commotion of the Phantom but Teresa came up to her and surprisingly she was one of Christine's fans. As time pass on Christine actually became quite popular.

When Christine was finally there Teresa welcome them with open arms and squeal when she saw Gustave.

“Oh my Christine he is so big and so handsome!” Teresa gave him a little pinch on his cheek. Christine let out laugh and let Teresa to hold her son.

“He just keeps growing Teresa. And I can't be even more happier, he is a healthy boy. Giving her son a loving gaze. Teresa smiles and brought both of them into the library. Christine was surprise that Teresa lead them to the library. “Teresa.... I thought Edward doesn't like anyone being in his library?”

Teresa chuckles and wave at Christine “Well Christine he is not here so he doesn't have to know”. Christine grins at Teresa's playful manner.

Christine looks around, this was her first time being here and it was very organized with so many types of book. Then she look at Teresa, she was still holding Gustave.

“Are you sure Edward would not mind?” Teresa giggles while saying “Well Edward knows I'm here when he is gone. At first he was mad but I told him that I like coming here because I miss him. This place has written Edward all over it and as a matter of fact I am sitting in his favorite chair and it still smells like him. And Edward will be gone for 2 more days so he should expect it.” Christine thought that was so cute. She smiles and grasp Teresa hand. Teresa grins and said “What?” Christine laughs and replies “It's so cute. Your like a girl head over heels and you two had been married for over two years and Edward still chases after you”. Teresa taps Christine hand with hers “Remember Christine I am a very expressive person and very playful as I might add” Teresa end with a Smile. Christine laughs then teases Teresa “that sounded naughty Teresa”. Teresa laughs “Did it?” Then they both giggle.

Time passes on and Christine and Teresa did not even realize it was already afternoon.

Christine looks at the clock. “Oh my, it's that late”. Teresa gasp “your right.” Then Teresa got an idea “Christine why don't you spend the night here, I would worry if you leave this late”. Christine grins and said “Thanks but Raoul is suppose to come home tomorrow morning and I want to be there when he comes”. Teresa raises her eyebrow and then giggles “My my look who is being so romantic”. Christine blushes. This made Teresa giggles even more.

Then Teresa gave Gustave a hug and a kiss on the cheek before giving him back to Christine. Christine smiles at the site of Teresa and her son. Teresa would make a good mother. This made her wonder why Teresa has not had any children yet.

Now with Gustave on her lap she ask Teresa “Teresa how come you and Edward does not have a child yet?”

Teresa face sadden but she answers Christine “Well it's complicated.... We really do want children and this place can get really empty when it is just Edward and I but..”

Christine reaches out to hold Teresa hand to comfort her. Christine did not expect this. Christine thought Teresa would say something like that she and Edward wants to wait so they can still enjoy the honeymoon phase but she did not expect this. She never wanted to sadden Teresa.

Christine then said “It's ok Teresa, if you don't want to talk about it, it's ok”.

Teresa shakes her head “No it's ok, your my close friend.” Christine waited for Teresa to continue. It looks like Teresa was going to cry. Christine did not know what to do so she kept holding her hand. But then Teresa took a deep breath “Actually Edward and I was able to have a baby but I lost it. I miscarriage after 4 months.”

Christine was shock and was sadden by this news “Oh Teresa,” She then came to Teresa side and pull her into her arms also making sure she had a secure hold of Gustave.

Teresa then said into Christine shoulder “We wanted to try again but I lost a lot of blood during the miscarriage so I was weak. The doctor said maybe it was related to my family history.”

Christine was confuse “What do you mean Teresa?”

Teresa grips Christine shoulder as for support “My mother died giving birth to me”. Now Christine was even more confuse “But your mother is alive?”

Teresa shook her head into Christine shoulder then she sighs and lets go of Christine and lays back in her chair. She looks at Christine and sadly grins “She is my step mother. A wonderful woman, she took me in like I was her own child”. Then Teresa smiles “Glaydis is not birth mother but she is my mother”.

Then Christine asks “So Fredrick is your half brother?”

Teresa nods. Then Christine wraps Teresa shoulder with her arm and rubs Teresa shoulder to comfort her. “Its ok Teresa you can try again. You are healthy strong now. I do remember when you were sick but I did not know it was for this reason”

Teresa nods and says “I want to but Edward still worries”. Christine grins “Of course he does. He doesn't want to lose you. It will just take time. Everything will be ok, you will see”. Teresa let out a little laugh “Thanks Christine for listening, I feel much better telling you this.” Christine smiles and kiss Teresa cheek “No problem”. Teresa giggles and hugs Christine “Your like a sister to me”. Christine returns the hug and mumbles against Teresa head “Me too”.

Teresa then looks at Gustave who was in Christine's other arm. “Maybe when I have daughter, she and Gustave can marry each other”. Christine chuckles “Not a bad idea”. Then they both laugh.
