"BOO!" A deep voice woke me up, and they were dangerously close to my ear.
"No, it's too early.." I mumbled to the demon waking me up.
"Not even for your favorite person?" I looked up at Cambell who was pouting with me.
I tackled him in a hug with my sleepy limbs. "CAM! What are you doing? I thought you were in Spain?!" Cam had left 2 weeks ago for a Honeymoon withhis new husband, Landyn.
"I came back early for my girls big award show!" He was beaming at me. Cambell had messy but perfect blonde hair and soft brown eyes, if he wasn't so obviously gay the girls would be melting over him. He had been my stylist since the beginning and when my career took off, so did his. Cambell was also a close friend, still a runner up to Brook though. I had known her since middle school.
"You didn't have to do that! Omg! Wasn't Landyn mad?'
"No, no. He said all the incomprehensible spanish was giving him a headache." We both laughed. I looked over at the clock. It said 10:30, I had always been a night owl so sleeping in was very usual. The award show wasnt until 5.
"We still have like 6 hours until the Summer Awards?" I phrased this fact more like a question.
"I know, I just couldn't wait any longer to see you!" He was almost jumping excitedly.
"Ok, let me get dressed and we can do something."
"I want to help!" I laughed as he followed me into the gigantic closet. My closet has dark pink walls with black bordering and carpet. In the middle of the room hung a big chandelier and a pink ottoman-chair thing under it. I walked over to my vanity while Cam picked out a outift. I did my usual, boring routine for the morning. Cam came back with a pair of black skinny jeans, some brown oxfords, a teal, strapless peplum top and a Aeroposte black pea coat. He picked a darker pink shade from my lipstick and popped it on top of his neat pile. "So, what are we doing today ,Cinderella?"
I groaned at his nickname and walked behind a curtain to change. "I told you not to call me that!"
He laughed at me, "and I was thinking salon or a movie." I opened the curtain to find him petting Honey.
"Oooh! Salon!" He clapped his hands excitedly.
"We can get a french manicure for tonight!" I smiled and patted Honey's head. "But first can we please have some breakfast." I grabbed my stomach dramatically. I sat down on a spare chair by my makeup and Cam begun his duties.
"Whatever you need, Ms. One Shoe." he laughed at me and I just rolled my eyes. "and dont move!" Cam finished rimming my sky blue eyes with black and curling my Cinderella colored hair and snapped a pic.
"Hey! You owe me a meal for that!" I pointed my finger at him and we exited my room with the dogs at our heels.
"Did someone say food?" Brooks curious face popped out from her door frame.
"Brooke! We are going to get breakfast then get our nails done! Come, come!" Cam joyfully invited my best friend. Brook shouted happily and grabbed her purse and shoes and trailed behind us. Oliver was waiting by the elevator when we exited and we all headed off.

We finally arrived at the nail salon after 2 hours of chatter and food. I swear Brook should be fat by now... Any way, Cam told us all about his honeymoon and his new house in New York. We talked about my new movie and Brook's obsessive blogging. We popped out of my red Mustang and entered our favorite salon here. You know why it was our favorite? Because it was always empty.
"Hello! Ella and Brook! Nails done?" Mi-Mi was the woman who owned the place with her two daughters, she knew us from our many visits. A middle aged woman at a chair near the back looked up at us and then back down at her magazine. Mi-Mi's daughters were 20 and 25 and they were both playing on computers in the back.
"Yes, just hands today! And you remember Cam." She shook his hand eagerly and showed us to the chairs to get our nails done. Brook grabbed a few magazines off the rack and sat down. I played on my phone, waiting for the two girls to come and get us. Brook was the first to get service a few minutes later.
Mi-Mi came up to me next. "So, what do you want today Ms. Ella?" She took my hands and started taking off my old nail polish.
"Just a french manicure, I'm going to a fancy event tonight." I smiled and she sent me smile back.
"So, how are you and Duke now? Did you manage to get rid of him yet?" Cam asked me.
"It says right here that 'Della is going on strong. Duke said in a recent interview that Ella makes him feel like a prince.'" Brook pointed to her magazine and we all laughed.
"Yea, right. You really have to give respect to his publicist, though. He brags that he has a new girl every night, and he even wears makeup to cover his black eyes." I rolled my eyes, that woman has the worst job ever.
"Well, think about your publicist! She has to cover your feet hurting during interviews." Cam pointed out, making us giggle.
"Yeah, but I don't have temper like Duke's."
"I can't wait til your mom finally sees through his managers act. I mean why would anyone set up Cinderella and the villain?" Brook made a good point. At this point she had put her magazine down to get her nail painted a midnight blue.
I sighed, "One of the downsides of fame, never finding the one. It's hard to see through the fan's marriage proposals."
"Just buy lose shoes, princess." Brooke commented.
"Agh. Stop with the princess jokes!" I threw my head back and they laughed at me. Mi-MI finished up on my nails and we left by three o'clock to the Summer Awards.
