Prologue:
Shell:
The cold seeped, and shudders enveloped my body. Despair’s hand was clinging to me. The street was dark; people passed by without giving me a second glance. The street lamps were dull and the rain pummelled the street.
Today was a new step, a new beginning. I didn’t have a master....I had set my family free...and killing didn’t have to be the answer anymore. A new life; a new way. Getting up, I wiped the last of my tears and made my way down the street.Killing doesn’t have to be the answer.

Luv:
Running, the silver hair strung easily as hot tears coursed down his bright cheeks.
His eyes squeezed shut, but when the sight of the dead woman invaded his eyelids he shot his sapphire eyes open once again. The grass was cool on his bare feet, and as he came over the rise, his speed caught up with him—throwing him off balance—tumbling with his head tucked and his knees brought up, the young boy let gravity carry him until his body uncurled into a sprawled star at the bottom of the hill. He lay looking up at the dark moonless night for a long time. The boy hoped that neither of his masters would seek him.
The blood was too much. The woman didn’t even scream. She had known what was happening but… The tears began again, and this time the boy chose not to fight them. His eyes were cast upward but he only saw the eyes of the woman. Her eyes held only pity, and her lips were turned into a sad smile, even in death.
Nobody would miss her. Nobody would care. She had no husband. No sons or daughters. The boy felt a hiccup bubble from his shaky lungs as the realization sunk in. It could have been his own mother. A whore who nobody would miss… A whore who nobody knew… The boy wrapped his arms around his fragile frame, trying to summon a memory of a mother he’d never known.
A/N: Hey guys! I hope you all enjoyed the prologue! So, this is how we are going to structure this story, both perspectives are going to be used. Sometimes the characters switch perspective a lot—sometimes they go for long rants before switching. It will be varied, but one thing will stay the same… at the end of each chapter we are going to post a short quote from somewhere later in the story! Consider it a ‘next time, in All’s Fair in Love & War…’ except not necessarily from the next chapter =D
Anyways, please Vote, Fan, and Comment <3
