Stranded By Waves

"I, I don't know. I mean would I have my own privacy?" I asked. I looked intintly at Kade. He chuckled. I knew he was laughing at me, but I smiled in spite. I couldn't help it, his deep voice was contagious. 

" All of it you wanted. I'm a good hunter, and I'm pretty sure you can cook, am I right?" It was my turn to laugh. 

" If you want burnt toast, then yes. I am a good weaver. I can climb too." I said looking into his eyes. All of the sudden a wave of sleepiness wshed over me. I yawned, and Kade brought me a weaved blanket he layed it over me and told me good night, then I drifted off into a deep sleep.

The next morning I woke up to see a fresh mangoe sitting in front of me with my coconut cup. I ate, then about two hours later Kade came in. We continued this rutine until I felt good enough to start walking. Then after about a month, I felt better. 

" Do you want to take a walk on the beach?" Kade asked me. I nodded yes and walked with him to the white sandy beaches. The moon was full and shone brightly on the beach. We walked for a long time letting the water run up our ankles, then watching as it retreated and went back down to join its waves. I heard something so familiar that  it made me jump up and down. I winced at the pain that shot up my knee, but I didn't care. I started to scream, and whistle through my teeth as loud as I could. Kade soon joined me and the helicopter came into sight. We jumped up and down, waving our arms wildly. 

" HELP! PLEASE HELP!!!!!" I yelled. Tears started to roll down my face as the helicopter passed over us and kept going. I lay against Kade's chest sobbing.  He wrapped his arms around me. I turned aroubd and sobbed into his shoulder. He just stood there holding me for half an hour. I glanced up at him. He was looking at me with loving eyes. I don't know where from, but I realized that I loved him. We both leaned in and we started to kiss. Not a deep kiss but asweet one that a girl charishes.
