It took us about 40 minutes to get to the house and there wasn't much around. The house was old, white, and big with a swing on the front porch.

I stare at the house then look over at my mom. "Well... she did say she lived far out" my mom said looking over at me. I open the door and grabbed my purse and turn to look at the house again. "Mia, just call me when you need me to come pick you girls up" my mom says.
"Alright" I say closing the door. I walk away from the car and up to the house. I open the screen door and knocked a couple of times then stood back. After a minute, a pale, white woman with her hair pulled back in a pony-tail smiles at me.
"Hi you must be Mia, please come in" the lady said opening the door wider so I could step in around her. I turn around to wave at my mom then went inside. I saw stairs ahead of me and the house smelled of Mac'n'Cheese. I turn around and the woman closes the door and looks at me. "I'm Deb, it's so nice to meet you" she said putting out her hand. I smile and shake it.
"Nice to meet you too"
"Thank you so much for doing this last minute, it seriously means a lot to me"
"Of course, I love kids" I say smiling at her.
"The baby, my son Robbie is upstairs in his crib, he's asleep right now because I just got done feeding him. However, his dad is coming by later on tonight to pick him" Deb says grabbing a piece a paper off a desk in the room to right. She then passes me going into the living room. "Please come meet the twins" she says and I follow her. We walk out the living into the dining room and I saw two little girls sitting at the table drawing. "Alright girls this is your babysitter Mia, please introduce yourself" Deb says. The girls look at me with food crumbs on their face and I smile at them.
"My name is Jackie" one of the twins said. Her bangs hang in front of her eyes and she pushes them back with the palm of her hands not letting go of the crayon she was holding.
"I'm Jill" the other twin said. Her hair was pulled back in a pony-tail like her mom and she stares at me. Both girls were pale and had bright colored eyes.
"Hello" I wave at them and they look back down at their drawings.
"They just ate as well. Only one more snack for them tonight" Deb says and I look over at her. "Here you go" she said handing me a paper and I take it. "These are just a few rules I wrote down for the girls."
"Okay, sweet. Thank you" I said.
"I thought your mom said you were bringing a friend?"
"Yea, she's on her way. Her mom is bringing her" I say and Deb gives me a quick smile then turns back to the girls.
"Alright girls, you both be good for Mia, she's doing mommy a big favor" Deb says walking over to the twins and kissing the top of their heads. They pretty much ignore her and Deb walks pass me back to the front door and grabs her purse. "Do you have any questions?"
