Chapter 2

Violet's pov -

Why did I do that? I know I'm not supposed to get involved with anyone. Why was I so damn stupid?

"Okay okay calm down Mom. Everything is gonna be fine. All they are doing now is taking a blood sample - nothing your not already used to"

Mom looked at me with pain in her eyes.

"I'm......so.......sorry......baby."

"Mom stop everything is fine. There's nothing to be sorry about."

"Yes.............there..........is.........you.......have.......a......life.......of................"

"Mom?"

She laid there so still.

"Mom? Mom wake up! Mom?!?! DOCTOR!!!!!!! I NEED A DOCTOR IN HERE NOW!!!!

The doctor ran in with a nurse not far behind. They looked at me then to Mom. The nurse came up to me.

"I'm sorry Miss but you need to go out to the waiting room now."

I looked at Mom the gathered my things and walked out of the room. Once in the waiting room I sat down.

2 hours later

The nurse slowly walked towards me with her head down - I knew this couldn't mean good news.

"I'm so sorry. Your mom - she was just so sick. Her lungs shut down and she just stopped breathing. I'm so sorry for your loss."

No how could this happen?? Not my mom.....

The nurse rubbed my arm and asked if she could call anyone -

"No. No I don't have anyone else."

I turned, grabbed all my stuff and ran out of the hospital. I had to get away - go anywhere as long as it was away rom that place.

What am I gonna do? I have no where to go, no one to turn to...... oh my god........... I am now alone for good.

I felt the impact before my brain caught up to my body. I had just ran into someone........and not just anyone - Ethan.
