Chapter 1: The Hero's Aquaintaince

BGM: "Trust Me x1"-Petda Rocka

Maihami was at his home in a small village called Gritzy. His family had gone to the market. Maihami had tannish skin and red hair. He wore a white shirt and brown pants that went down to his black shoes. Maihami walked into the kitchen, deciding to make bread for his family while they were away at the market.

About an hour later, they had not returned, so he left the bread on the stove and went for a walk. When he walked outside, he saw a man in a green outfit. He had white skin and a pointy green hat with a red feather on it. He was pacing back and forth. He looked up. He walked towards Maihami.

"Hi. What's your name?" he asked.

"My name is Maihami. What's yours?"

"My name is Guile" said the man.

"Where are you from, Guile?" asked Maihami.

"I'm from a village called Sondaz."

"Where's Sondaz?"

"It's not that far from here, really. The fastest way to get there is to go through the temple. It's a really cool place. You should visit sometime."

"Can we go?" asked Maihami.

"Sure" responded Guile. "I don't see why not."

Maihami ran through the village, Guile staying in place. Guile pulled a black Walkie Talkie out of his pocket. "Target is in motion. ETA 10 minutes. Tell Ghetsis that I've got him a "new recruit". Trust me, he'll love this one." said Guile with an evil smile.

"Copy that."said the man on the Walkie talkie. "Ghetsis says that he's ready for 'em."

Guile let out an evil chuckle. "Great."he said. "The boy's name is Maihami."

After he got to the temple, Maihami turned around. "Come on, Guile! You have to show me the way."

"Got to go." Guile whispered. "He's waiting on me."

Guile passed many homes, most which were made of brick.

After he passed all the homes, a temple made of polished sandstone stood in front of them. Guile walked up to a wooden sign where Maihami was standing nearby.

It read:

Gritzy Temple         

The people of Gritzy come here once a year to worship their god, Garmuda.

Do Not Enter!

Maihami walked up the stairs to the door of the temple. Guile watched him walk to the door. "Maihami, are you sure we should go in here?"

"It's the fastest way to Sondaz, isn't it?"

"Yeah...". Responded Guile.

"Then let's go!"

"I'm not so sure about this..." said Guile.

"Come on." said Maihami. "It'll be fun!"

"What if Garmuda awakens?"

"Don't worry so much. He's been asleep for a hundred years. What makes you think he'll wake up now?"

"The Legend..." said Guile darkly.

"What legend?"

"In Sondaz, there has been a legend about Garmuda awakening after a hundred years of slumber. It tells that when this happens, great destruction will come and thieves, robbers, and bandits will appear to destroy everything we know."

"Wow. That sounds bad. Sounds like we better hurry up then. We don't have much time to waste."

Guile sighed, glaring at Maihami from behind. "Nothing will stop you, will it?"

"Nope." replied Maihami. He saw Guile standing at the bottom of the stairs. "Let's get a move on, Guile."

Maihami took off the broken green lock that was on the door. Guile walked up the stairs and stood before Maihami. They looked each other in the eye. Maihami pushed on the door. It creaked as it opened slowly. They entered the temple, starting forward on the path to Sondaz. Guile led, Maihami following closely behind.
