"Gimme a break" I say out loud to myself holding my head as papers with different topics and articles were being thrown at me left and right. I was currently in my office going over pictures from my recent photo shoot that I wanted to put up tonight on our website but it was just too hard and frustrating to pick the perfect one. Wait let me introduce myself. Hi my name is Onika, I'm 23 years old, and I am a blogger here at Trini Mags.

Let's just say I have many fans here on my island and many fans from across the world. I started blogging and doing talk shows ever since I was a young teen and I've even traveled back and forth to America meeting other bloggers and publishers. "Onika wah time yuh leaving tonight." Jasmine one of my best friends here at Trini Mags asks peeping in as I sighed. "Mi actually a guh lef inna di next thirty minutes. Why wah gwaan gyal?" I ask as she smiled coming in siting down in front of my desk.

"Well mi did hoping wi cud guh out an ave sum drinks or two" she says in her thick accent smiling as I smirked at her. "Yuh trying fi get drunk?" I ask as she shook her head no. "Onika you've been working suh haad dis week cum wi tek a break as inna now!" She says getting up walking around my desk as I laughed. "Okay okay jasmine gimme a minute" I say gathering up my things as she nodded leaving out my offices.

Checking the time it was going on 7 and I needed to get home before 8 so that I could do a quick live video vlog before I eat whatever it is my mother was cooking for dinner tonight then shower and go to bed getting the rest I needed for my busy schedule tomorrow. "Yuh ready?" Jasmine ask as I nodded grabbing my brief case and purse heading towards the door closing and locking it behind me. Walking out the building I hopped in my mini van following behind her to Chaud Cafe and Wine Bar right on Damain Street.

Parking and going in we sat down ordering some red wine. "Busy day todeh eh" she says as I nodded. "Yea mi suh ready fi get home an vlog" I say as the bartender brung over our wine. "Tank yuh" jasmine says as he nodded. "Yuh just wa fi get home an chat to yuh likkle American boyfriend, Yuh nuh slick Onika" she says as I giggled taking a sip of my wine. I was currently in an online long distance relationship with an American guy from Philadelphia named Robert Williams who goes by Rihmeek or Meek.

Him and I have been on and off because one we've never even met in person and two we both live exactly 2,206 miles from each other and although I've told him to come visit me he acts as if he's "busy" when it's only a 4 hour plane ride to get here. I'm always busy myself so I haven't set aside a day where I wanna fly up there and surprise him but it'll feel to awkward and weird. We both know we're not catfishes, although people catfish my photos in real life. He just got real lucky when he joined one of my live blogs about relationship and love.

That was sorta when I did a private video chat with him and my God was he sexy. "Mind yuh bizniz gyal an cum wi hurry up wid dis wine mi get fi get home" I say as she laughed waving her no no finger in my face. "Yaah lie a lie yuh tell a lie bad gyal" she says as I smiled. "Yaah mess Jasmine wah mi a guh duh wid yuh" I ask as she shrugged. We talked and finished up our wines hugging each other goodbye heading home our separate ways. I invited her to dinner but she had to go pick up her daughter.

Arriving home I parked beside my dads truck before getting out going inside getting attacked by my two bulldog puppies. "Mommy, daddy mi home" I say walking through house as curry instantly hit my nose. Glancing at the stove I saw she had some green beans and potato curry as the Trinidadian spices made my mouth water. "Gud evening baby ow wuk" she says asking me how was work as I placed my briefcase down on the floor.

"Hectic as usual get to vlog tonight before mi guh a bed" I say as she smiled. "Yuh such a haad working young lady baby mi proud of yuh" she says as I smiled. "Mi kno momma, hey dad" I say as he came in the kitchen. "Hey baby" he says as I we hugged. "Alright suh mi a guh fix mi plate an head up to mi room goodnight" I say pecking both of their cheeks before fixing my phone grabbing my briefcase going upstairs to my room.

My food was hot so I decided I'd post my photo shoot pictures from last week online along with letting them know about my live vlog which will began in the next thirty minutes. Taking a quick shower and placing a cute but simple night gown on I placed my hair in a high neat ponytail grabbing my food eating it since it was now how I liked it. I had 5 minutes before I went live so I went on ahead and pressed broadcast getting viewers quickly. "Oh wow" I say seeing it hit 341K viewers in less than 3 minutes.

"Hey my babies" I say before placing a bite of food in my mouth chewing looking at the comments. Now with my vlogs and articles I had to use clear English so people could understand me. "Shit" I say to myself seeing my MacBook was on 20 percent and I need this particular one for tomorrow so this broadcast is going to have to be short. Getting straight to the topic tonight which was about love I had fun talking and answering questions with them.

As I was narrowing down to the end Rihmeek's user name popped up as I rolled my eyes at him not calling or texting me all day. "Okay suh mi off to bed now but mi wi speak wid yuh guys lata" I say considering they love when I end my vlogs in my accent. Blowing a kiss I ended the live letting my PC charge. Before getting in bed I got a notification letting me know someone sent a text. Grabbing my phone climbing in bed it was from Rihmeek as I sighed opening it which read:

"hey beautiful sorry I didn't get in contact with you all day, I was in the studio from 12 to to 6 and didn't get home officially till 9 when I seen you were live but came in at the end of it so I'm so sorry, hope we can video chat tomorrow morning if you're free:))

shaking my head I turned my phone off. I'll be sure to call him tomorrow when I'm free but in the meantime it's time for me to get some sleep. Got a big day ahead of me.
