-*Five Years Later*-
I sigh contently. She's grown so much. I watch her play in the long grass, when she comes running up to me with a flower in her hand. Her head is as tall as my knees, the cute little darling. She has long dark brown hair that curls down to her lower back, and sea green eyes, just like her mother, with a cute button nose. "Daddy! Daddy! Up! Up!" She lifts her arms up expectantly. I laugh. "OK, Princess." I pick her up as she hands me the little daisy. "For you, Daddy!" I smile softly. She's so precious.
"Thank you, Princess. Let's go give it to Mummy." I lift her off my lap and onto the ground, and I take her hand.
"Come on Daddy! Let's go!" She pulls me excitedly along the path to the house. As we walk towards the bedroom where my wife is sleeping, I hear her heavy snoring and laugh. God, she always was a heavy snorer...
"Hey Princess, let's go find a glass of water to put the flower in for when
Mummy wakes up." I tuck a stray hair behind her ear
"Ok Daddy! Up!" She sticks up her arms up in excitement. I smile, shaking my head.
"Alright, Princess." I pick her up and carry her to the kitchen. She points to the glass on the sink.
"This one?" I pick up the glass.
"Yea." She says, as I fill the glass with water. She drops the flower in.
