A knock on the door,
She says my name.
I'm lying on the floor,
With that picture frame. It's time to speak,
She has to know.
Agony at its peak,
I have to go.Don't know what they're saying,
Don't know what they want.
All night I've been praying,
So they'd stop their taunts.I step out into the balcony,
The wind's so cold.
But it doesn't affect me,
For numb are my toes.Life's not that bad,
I say to myself.
Then why are you sad?
My heart repells.I get up on the ledge,
Weak and wooden,
Just like my legs,
With blood, so sodden. The time is right,
For me to fly.
A bird in flight,
It's do or die.
