I'm suffocating with emotions
My head processing all the tokens
Given only to upset me
After which I can't stay free.

I was a bird in the sky
Until dawn became nigh
Until free fligh didn't exist
They just didn't get the gist.

"You're just a girl,"
At me they hurl
I know I am, yet I'm
Still stuck in this jam.

It's so confusing
Bells just don't ring
My head begins to hurt
My eyes begin to burn.

The world is spinning
They're definitely winning
I can't choose my path
For me, they've got wrath.

It's such a burden to
Watch them as they do
Whatever they want.
A lot they will taunt.

I'm starting to think,
Just as I'm at the brink,
"I was so stupid,"
I'm not any Cupid.
