Chapter 22

Tori’s P.O.V

‘America but we just got back!’ I said jumping off the couch. ‘I know Tori but this is what’s best for your career. I know that you are still under a lot of stress due to your coma but trust me it’s what’s best.’ Simon weakly smiled. ‘Are the boys coming with us?’ Jess asked. Please say that they are. ‘Unfortunately no. they have to record their own album’s but they will be joining us just before the TCA’s. It’s only three weeks.’ He weakly smiled. I groaned leaning back onto the couch. ‘SANDWHICH!!!’ I heard someone yell. Oh crap no. Feet were pounding on the ground. Why can’t I get up. ‘Oof.’ I breathed as I felt bodies fly onto me. I groaned looking up to find Louis, Niall and Ashton flung across me. ‘Get your fat asses off of me.’ I yelled trying to get up. ‘Boys really she just got out of a coma.’ Simon sighed rubbing his head in his hands. ‘What were you saying about America?’ Liam asked getting a drink out of the fridge. Jess and I sent each other looks. ‘Um well you know how the TCA’s are in a month.’ I started motioning towards Jess to finish. ‘Well we have to leave for America soon to do a promotional tour just before the awards.’ Jess smiled nervously. ‘Oh that’s awesome. When do you guys leave.’ Ashton smiled showing off his dimples. ‘Three days.’ I whispered, just loud enough for everyone to hear.

It turns out that Zayn and Perrie had a massive fight about her leaving last night and now they aren’t talking. I sighed throwing myself onto my bed. Even the most perfect couples have fights. I guess. ‘Babe can I come in?” Luke asked knocking on the door. ‘Sure.’ I mumbled into the pillows. Luke chuckled and jumped onto the bed next to me. And when I say jumped I mean he ran across the room like Tarzan and flung himself onto my bed making me bounce about a meter in the air. ‘Luke.’ I whined. ‘Yes my love.’ Luke grinned. I just shook my head chuckling. Luke pulled me onto his stomach and I am not lying when I said I could feel his abs through his shirt. ‘Tori, Tori, Tori.’ Luke kept saying clicking his fingers in front of my face. ‘What oh yeah. Sorry spaced out for a second.’ I smiled resting my head on his chest. ‘I know that I’m hot babe but you don’t have to stare.’ He smirked. Oh two can play at this game. ‘Luke honey I wasn’t staring at you.’ I smirked. Luke’s face fell instantly. Boy he was gullible. I started laughing uncontrollably and kissed him softly. ‘You’re so gullible you know that right babe.’ I smiled. Luke had a tint of pink in his cheeks which made him look 10 million times hotter. ‘Are you excited for America.’ He asked, changing the subject. ‘I guess but I don’t want to leave you again.’ I pouted resting my head in the crook of his neck. ‘Hey I’m going to miss you two but don’t worry. We’ll see each other soon. The boys and I will be over in three weeks. And your performing so it will go by so fast.’ He smiled pecking my forehead. ‘And we only have two days together so how about we go out tonight?’ He asked. ‘Hmm I think that I might like that.’ I smiled pressing my lips to his. ‘Well I had better let you get ready then.’ He smiled walking out of the room. I smiled to myself running to the wardrobe.

I just finished putting on the last touches onto my make-up when someone knocked at the front door. ‘Can someone get that.’ I called coming down the stairs, trying to put on my heels. Of course no answer. But there was a note at least

I sighed grabbing my clutch off the bench and walking to the front door. I swung it open to find Luke resting his arm against the frame. He looked hot. Well he always does. ‘Luke you do live here you know.’ I smiled. ‘Yeah but I thought that it would be more romantic like this.’ He smiled slightly blushing. Before I knew it he pulled a bunch of roses out from behind his back. ‘Luke.’ I cooed pressing a kiss to his lips. ‘You’re the cutest you know that right.’ He smiled wrapping his arms around me. ‘Let me go put these in some water.’ I smiled walking into the kitchen. Luke followed behind me sitting on the bench holding his chin in his hands. He looked adorable. Wait is it weird to say adorable. Oh well I called him adorable. I went over to the large mirror in the lounge area and made sure I looked perfect. I was wearing this cute black and white dress. It was black at the top and went into a white skirt. I had done my hair into a messy bun that still looked professional with a small pink bow just underneath. I had a few rings and bracelets on my fingers and hands. ‘Ready.’ I turned and smiled at Luke. He warmly smiled back taking my hand and dragging me outside. And I’m not joking when I said dragging me. Good thing I was good at walking in heels. Well more like running.

We arrived at beach after about 30 minutes. ‘Luke you know I hate surprises. What are we doing.’ I groaned as he opened the door for me. ‘Well you see my darling Tori. This is the last night that we will be spending together without you having to pack. So I figured that we should spend the night doing something that we both think of as the perfect date.’ He smiled, entwining our fingers and walking me down the beach. ‘You know sometimes you make no sense Hemmo.’ I smiled swinging our hands up and down. ‘Yes but I’m yours. Don’t forget that.’ He smiled jumping in front of me so now he was walking backwards. I didn’t need to say anything, all I did was smile. I saw a light flash coming from the bush not too far away. ‘Damn paps.’ I muttered, shoving my face in Luke’s chest. He chuckled and started leading me to a caved area. ‘Luke where the hell are we going.’ I said peering into the cave. ‘Hop on my back and you’ll see.’ He said bobbing down in front of me. Memories started flashing back of when I had found out about Logan. (A.N she only got out of the hospital and is still having flashbacks of what happened before the accident) ‘Tori you ok?’ Luke asked turning around to face me. ‘Yeah I’m fine. You know they said that I would just be getting small flashbacks every now and then. I’m fine.’ I smiled giving him a hug. ‘Now hop on my back and I’ll take you to the date spot.’ He grinned turning around. I jumped onto his back, thanking that I had good balance in heels. Yeah jumping onto someone’s back in the middle of a sandy beach whilst wearing heels isn’t the most graceful thing. Especially when you have paparazzi watching you. ‘Luke where are we going.’ I whined as he fastened his pace. ‘It’s just through here.’ He said walking into the dark cave. I’ not going to lie here when I say that it’s dark. I think there were little yellow eyes in there. ‘Luke.’ I whined once more. My voice was now echoing. Of course he just chuckles at me. ‘We’re mearly there babe.’ He chuckled once more. I huffed crossing my arms across my chest. Luke walked us out of the cave. There was a blanket across the beach with a picnic and candles laid out on it. ‘Lukey.’ I smiled wrapping him into a hug. ‘Come on babe. Let’s eat.’
