The weekend passed and I still hadn’t gotten any word from Nate. I was skating in the parking lot when I saw his silver porche pull in. I got off my board and watched his car. The driver door opened and Cameron got out. I sighed disappointed. I turned and went back to riding around. I was about to do a flip when arms wrapped around me.

“Morning kitten.” I looked back shocked. Nate’s gray eyes looked amused. I didn’t care. I was glad he was okay. I spun around and hugged him. He seemed surprised and didn’t hug me back right away. But once he did he squeezed me tight. “I think someone missed me” he teased. I laughed at him.

I pulled back and looked in his eyes. “I thought you had gotten kidnapped.” I pouted at him and Nate seemed to get a bit more serious. “You missed a whole week of school.”

Nate shrugged. “Comes with the territory.”

“What territory? The territory of being a delinquent?”

Nate smirked. “Ha ha” he said. “You are so funny.”

“Thank you, I’ll be here all year.” Nate laughed and leaned his forehead against mine. “I met your dog on Saturday. He’s very cute.”

“Oh Bear. He really isn’t my dog.” I looked at him confused. Nate set me down and he ran his hand through his hair. “Bear was my dog but I had to give him up. And the people that took him live not too far away so I take him sometimes. I also watch him every time they go on vacation.”

“But your aunt acted like Bear was there all the time.”

“I don’t know kitten. My Aunt is a little scatter brained.” I laughed.

“She did seem a bit scattered to me.” I grabbed my board and looked up at Nate. The bell to get to class was about to ring. “I’m glad you’re okay Nate.” His gray eyes blazed. The bell rang. I smiled at him and started walking away. “Later” I called over my shoulder.

“Later kitten” I heard him call back.

I didn’t really see Nate for the rest of the week. I saw him in the halls and once or twice he would smirk at me, but he never came over to bug me. I kind of missed him playing around with me. It gave me something to do.

I was laying on my bed Saturday afternoon and I was thinking of what I could do. I was thinking about getting my lip pierced but I knew my dad would through a fit if I did. I’ll just wait until he goes on one of his long trips. By the time he sees me they’ll be healed. My phone buzzed once saying I got a text. I opened it and it was from Nate.

Hey kitten

I texted him back saying hey.

Come over I want to see my little kitten

I rolled my eyes. I really need to get him to stop calling me kitten. I said sure and I’ll be over in a few. My phone buzzed again.

Wear as little as possible

I texted back saying you wish. After that I put my phone down and changed. I put on skinny jeans and a tank top. This was as much as I was going to do for Nate. Not that I was trying to impress him or anything. Whatever. I grabbed my phone and keys and headed out. I shouted to daddy that I was going out and I yelled back an okay.

I drove to Nate’s house and parked in his driveway. I knocked on the door and waited for like ever for someone to open the door. I knocked again and still I waited out there. I got impatient and I texted Nate.

Answer your stupid door

A minute later Nate was opening the door with a smirk on his face. “Come in kitten.” I rolled my eyes and walked in. I went right to the living room and a lot of the guys were over. Some said hey to me, some just stared. I ignored them mostly and sat down on the couch. Nate came in and he picked me up. He sat in my seat and then put me on his lap.
