Zenix's POV.
"Oo! Are you two going to get married?" My mom teased me at the dinner table. I couldn't help but laugh at her. "Mom we're only in high school.. But I can't believe you're alright wth Gene and I dating.." I said. "Pfft, it was obvious you two had a thing for each other, so I was just sitting and waiting for you two to finally date!" She exclaimed and I laughed.
"Mom, you are impossible.." I said. "Oh, I know hun." She giggled. I took a sip from my bottle of water. "So when is your best daaattee~" She asked. "This Saturday.. I think we're going to a movie.." I said. "Awwe! Oh my Irene I'm going to cry, my baby is growing up!" My mom let out a fake sob.
"Mom..." I groaned. "What? I can't be embarrassing you because there is no one here." She said. "Okay.. But still.." I said. "Fine, help me clean up and I'll stop 'embarrassing you' in front of your imaginary friends.." She giggled as she stood up from the table and walking into the kitchen.

I was laying on my bed reading a book when my phone rang. I picked it up. "Who this?" I asked. "Hey babe." I heard Gene's voice. "Gene! Hey what's up?" I asked, closing my book. "Nothing much, just gave Dante some dating advice cause he desperate for someone.." Gene laughed. "Oo, who?" I asked. "I won't say much.. Just know that it's a Ro'Maeve.." Gene said. "Mm, Dante is gonna need some luck then.." I said. "Yup."
"So what's up with you?" Gene asked. "Nothing much.. But I'll tell you ever since my mom found out about us dating she's been talking about it non-stop." I said. "Awe." Gene chuckled. "Oh shut it, you." I said.
I heard a crash from the other end. "GENE HE TEXTED BACK!" I heard Dante yell. "Then text him back!" Gene yelled. "Okay okay!" I heard running. "AND NEXT TIME KNOCK!" Gene yelled. "Sorry about that." I couldn't help but laugh. "It's okay." I said.
"So-" My door suddenly slammed open. "Are you talking to Gene?!" My mom exclaimed. "Um.. Yeah..?" My mom gasped. "Eek! Gene you better treat him right!" My mom yelled, smiling. "Yes ma'am." Gene said. "Good." My mom said before backing out.
I sighed and fell back on my bed. "See what I mean..?" I asked. "Hah, yeah I do.. Hey listen I have to go Dante just scored a date and he's gonna be screaming about it, see ya tomorrow babe, love you." Gene said. I smiled. "I love you too, good luck with your brother."
And with that we hung up.
