Chapter 18~ A double movie date?

Zenix's POV.

It was an hour til' my date with Gene. We were going to the movies and honestly I couldn't wait.

I did the basic 'get ready for a date' stuff like take a shower, wear nice clothes, etc. But as I was walking into the kitchen to get something to drink, I heard my mom squeal. "Oo! Someone's looking fancy~" She teased, even thought my 'nice clothes' consisted of a band t-shirt, a nice jacket and some blue jeans.

"Yeah.. I'm going out with Gene in about an hour." I said. "Oh I know, you're going to the movies with him!" She exclaimed. "Yeah.. I told you this like.. Three days ago." I said. "Yup! Have fun sweetheart and be safe." She said.

"Thanks mom.. I'm gonna hang out in my room until he gets here.. Okay?" I asked. "Sounds like a plan!" She exclaimed as I went back up to my room.

I crashed on my bed and looked at my phone, seeing as I missed a call from Gene. I put his number in and pressed call. It rang a few times before he answered. "Yelo?" He asked. "You called?" I asked back. "Uh, yeaaahh.. I need to tell you something." He said. "Yeah?" I asked. "Dante and his possible boyfriend are joining us today.." Gene said. "Why?" I asked.

"Dante thought it would be less awkward and so on if we were there.. But also.. Dante's possible boyfriend is Vylad." Gene said. I groaned. "That guy? Didn't he say he hated our guts cause the gang apparently 'ruined his life' for one year when he joined?" I asked. "Yeah.. I mean I can tell Dante that it's a no go if you don't want to go through with it.." Gene said.

"No, it's fine.. I guess as long as your there it'll be possible to go through with it.." I said. "Okay.. I'm on my way to pick you up now, I'll be there in about ten minutes." Gene said. "Alright, I love you." I said. "Love you too, bye." Gene said before hanging up.

The doorbell rang, and I was halfway out of my room when I heard my mom yell that Gene was here.

I got to the front door where my mom was standing, greeting my boyfriend with a warm smile.

I got close to Gene and got on my tip toes to give him a peck on the lips (I don't know if I mentioned this earlier but he is like.. Way taller than me).

"Bye mom." I said. She gave me a tight hug. "Be safe, and Gene.. Have him back by 5:30pm.." She said. "Yes ma'am." He said as he took my hand, leading me outside.

I saw Gene's younger brother, Dante ständig there talking to Vylad, of all people.

Vylad glanced over at us and huffed before looking back at Dante.

Let's hope nothing goes wrong during this date..
