A day later, a lone cop walked the streets of Kaon, he stopped for a moment as a car passed. He stayed in the shadows and waited quietly. After a few minutes, he silently walked down the street. He remained hidden for now, though he didn't need to considering he was a cop. No one would dare harm him. Not because of this fact, but the people here knew not to mess with him. He smiled darkly at the thought and continued forward.

Another man emerged from the shadows and looked at him. They stared at each other for a few minutes, having a silent conversation. The newcomer walked away and the cop followed. After a while they entered a building and went to the top floor. They passed a few gang members who shifted uncomfortably when the two men walked by. They didn't feel they should cross either man's path.

Megatron stared at the screen of his iPad as he looked over his plans. He furrowed his brow as he realized there was a small issue. They were missing a few parts to what he was building. He walked over to the window and thought for a moment. His eyebrow twitched in annoyance. There was no way to get the parts he needed, to finish in time. He was starting to regret getting rid of Swindle. The project would take longer to put together, but he was a patient man, to a point. The door opened and he looked to it as he glared.

"Ah Soundwave." He said as he smiled wickedly. "I see you have found our guest." He smirked as they approached. Soundwave didn't respond and simply went back to his work. The cop walked over and looked at him.

"You summoned me." He muttered as he raised an eyebrow and folded his arms.

"Indeed. As you know Swindle has failed to fulfill his duties." Megatron growled and set the iPad down. "I have important information getting to Chief Burns." He looked at him. The man just stared back.

"Tell me Barricade. Are you the one that's been going behind my back?" He asked as he glanced at him. The cop smirked and stared back.

"You know as well as I do, that I am fully loyal to the Decepticons." He said seriously. The two men stared at each other as if testing the other. Megatron smiled wickedly then laughed darkly.

"I thought so." He sneered and looked back at his plans. "Do the other officers trust you?" He asked. The cop smirked and stood taller.

"With their lives." Barricade said as he smiled darkly. "I know who your rat is. I know every undercover cop that's in your mafia." He sneered. Megatron looked at him and smiled wickedly.

"Interesting." He muttered. "I'll give you time to collect the names and find them for me." He said seriously. The cop nodded once and turned to leave.

"Is your partner aware of anything you've been doing with the Decepticons?" The villian growled. Barricade scoffed quietly and looked over his shoulder at him.

"Chase is an idiot. He doesn't know when things are happening right under his nose." He smirked and turned to leave again.

"One more thing." Megatron said and the man looked back at him. "Chief Burns has been a thorn in my side for far too long. Now that I've gotten rid of Optimus, we need to focus on him. Find his weakness. If he has a family, bring them to me. They'll trust you." He sneered, Barricade smiled darkly and walked out of the room to fulfill his assignment.

A few days later...

Ratchet sat at his table and stared at some paperwork. He sighed forcefully and rubbed his face tiredly. He was doing his best to ignore the world, avoiding everyone. Optimus' children seemed to be scattered and unsure what to do. He wanted to help but didn't know how. He felt lost himself.

His phone buzzed again and he frowned as someone tried to contact him again. Why couldn't they just leave him alone? After what happened to Optimus he didn't want to talk to anyone. Not for awhile.
