Samuel came up to the nurse before she put the blanket over Catherine's head and kissed Catherine on the lips for the last time
Aden then came and grabbed Samuel off, and slapped him. Punching him until another nurse separated the two of them into the hallway.
Aden came and kissed Catherine. His tears falling on Catherine. Aden backed away and looked at Catherine as he walked out of the room and quickly left to go outside.
The nurse took Catherine out of the room and that was it. Catherine died that day. She tried so hard to stay but Brittany got her wish, Catherine was gone.
Aden was in the waiting room and offered to take Maya home.
Maya and Aden left the hospital
Sondrisa, and Samuel were the last to leave the hospital
That day was very sad
There was a funeral 2 weeks later..
Aden and Maya returned to school the next month. Everyone stared at them and asked about Catherine. Sondrisa wished that she didn't have to head back to England. But life continued moving.
Aden was still grieving and in shock and he rarely talked to amyone other then Maya.
Maya and Aden grew closer and realized they had alot in common other then Catherine
5 months later
Aden finally asked Maya to go out with him during their Senior year. They became boyfriend and girlfriend. Aden proposed to Maya after she got out of medical school.
Although Aden and Maya never knew any of this would happen as they went home that evening.
Aden drove Maya home everyday after tennis practice.
Every morning he was at Maya's house at 7:15 with an iced cappuccino waiting in his silver Lexus. They leaned on eachother. Sharing stories of Catherine. Sharing their love of adventure and baking.
Learning new things about eachother. When Catherine was alive the two never hung out but merely in the bliss of the girl they both loved.
Aden found comfort in someone who knew exactly what kind of pain he was.
