Brittany was called in to talk to a reporter about what happened to Catherine
Brittany went in to the newspaper office and found the man she talked to an the phone which was Gerald.
Gerald stood at his door. He saw Brittany and waved her over. Brittany went inside his office.
Gerald: May I ask a few questions?
Brittany: Yes.
Gerald: So Brittany what exactly was going through your head during the bullying and such?
Brittany: Well I guess I never really fully understood what a bully was. Once you tell yourself that you are a bully and that you made someone feel so horrible to the point where they couldn't live. You come to hate yourself and everyone around you hates you. I was so depressed my parents had just gotten divorced, my brother was in a car accident, there was so much going on. I just put all my anger on the one person I was the most jealous of.
Gerald: Why were you jealous of Catherine?
Brittany: Well she and I were best friends back in second grade. Then a new girl came her name was Maya. Catherine and Maya became super close. When I asked her to come over she said no sorry I have plans with Maya. It was always let's go to the movies can we bring Maya too. I was so angry at Maya for stealing my best friend. One day our class was outside playing and I walked up to Maya and slapped her. Catherine came running after me after she helped Maya. She yelled at me and walked off. She came back and we talked. She was scared a little when she was taking to me.
Gerald: What hurt the most?
Brittany: I don't even think Catherine knew she was hurting my feelings. I tried my hardest everyday to say sorry nothing fixed it.
Brittany: Later on we became so close we had so much in common. We spent the night at each others houses, we went shopping, we played games, we did absolutely everything together. I was hoping this made Catherine jealous but of course it didn't
Gerald: Anything else?
Brittany: The next couple years we were distant. We barely talked to each other. We never went to hang out and do things. I met a boy named Samuel. He asked me out on Valentines day. We were together for a year and a half. He told me he had fallen for someone else. A week later I saw him and Catherine making out and holding hands. I caught them having sex in the back of his car one day after school and I slapped her.
Gerald: Wow that's intense. I bet you were mad at the time.
Brittany: Ya I was. I talked to Samuel and he felt really bad. I asked him if he could meet me after school to have coffee. We talked for a very long time. As soon as we were leaving his hand and mine connected. He looked at me and kissed me. Of course I didn't back away. We found an empty alley way and made out for hours. We were on and off again. Although I was upset that he was still dating that two timing bitch.
Gerald: Did Catherine find out?
Brittany: We're getting there.
Later that week there was a party. I went by myself to this party no friends or boyfriend by my side. But that Catherine arrived with the most amazing boyfriend Samuel by her side and her new bestie Maya. I waved at Samuel but he didn't acknowledge while she was looking. I went to find some friends, but when I saw Catherine and Samuel kissing in the corner I felt enraged with so much anger how everyone chooses her. I saw the two of them laughing so I stuck a note in Samuels pocket telling him to meet me upstairs. He met me in the bedroom where I was waiting for him. Hoping he would come. He did come a few minutes later but right before that...
Gerald: Things took a turn from here didn't they?
Brittany: Ya. Then I saw Maya having fun before I headed upstairs so I handed her a drink but then I poured it on her and told her that she was an awful human for stealing my best friend from me. Samuel made his way upstairs and he didn't realize what I was about to do. I grabbed his neck and started kissing him. I threw his shirt off and undressed myself ever so quickly Catherine saw Samuel heading up the stairs and followed him. As she came in the room a few minutes later and she ran over pulled me off him and slapped me until I fell on the ground. Maya and Catherine left, and Samuel ran after them. I had been awful to her ever since that party.
She embarrassed me and I had hoped Samuel would leave her for me. I continued fighting for him everyday but he always went back to her. I did so many horrible things to her. I made her believe she had a stalker, I broke into her car, I spray painted on her locker at her apartment. I made sure she would feel scared.
